Pyramid catered our wedding and it was an ideal experience. We went before hand to try out what we wanted for our day and we made some substitutes without any issues. They are incredibly communicative and easy to work with. They are incredibly affordable and honestly should be charging double to triple. We had so many compliments from people such as "This is the best food I've ever had at a wedding" etc. They are flexible, professional, and came all the way to Edmonds to cater our wedding. Our experience with Pyramid Catering for our wedding was excellent and we would recommend their catering services. From our initial inquiry Ben was always very responsive and he quickly prepared a preliminary quote for us. Before and after hiring Pyramid we were able to attend tastings where we sampled some of their offerings. This made creating a specific menu for our reception very easy since we knew exactly what we were getting. Michael also worked with us to set up our catering workbook and rentals and provided guidance on reception setup. On the wedding day the food was fantastic and their staff did an excellent job with the entire catering experience. We hired Pyramid Catering for our baby shower being hosted at our house and they were so amazing! The team was able to accommodate their menu to our Cinco de Mayo themed baby shower and the food was delicious! We had two staff members during the event and they made sure that the food stayed warm, beverages were fully stocked, trash cans were emptied, and plates/cups were picked up. At the end of the event, they cleaned everything up and took the trash with them which was a lifesaver because we had no room in our trash can after the baby shower.   I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an experienced caterer in the area! I recently coordinated a wedding where Pyramid Catering was the caterer. I found their team to be solid and hard-working. Despite a challenging layout at the wedding venue (lots of stairs ! several kegs!), they rolled with the punches and put the couple first throughout the evening. Went with Ben and his team for our wedding reception. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We got a many compliments on how great food was. We wanted a lot of custom things to happen with the menu so went with the bid that we thought could best accommodate our requests. They were very open to working with us and making everything we wanted happen. On the event night, due to the teams lack of familiarity with the venue there were a couple of minor hiccups with the staff knowing the inventory well and moving equipment (tables, etc) out of the venue. I would say overall though, i would recommend their services and would use them again, but just making sure they are familiar and comfortable with the venue and venue rules. More...

We used Pyramid Catering for my daughter's recent wedding. Ben was incredibly organized with timelines (almost like a wedding planner), flexible with menu choices and a great communicator. On the day of the wedding, Ben and his crew set up perfectly, served the impressively prepared and delicious food, and then cleaned up very unobtrusively. The meal was like a 5 star restaurant except for 80+ people! We are still getting rave reviews from our guests about the quality of the food and for the friendly and professional service provided by Pyramid. We had a vision that our wedding would have a “backyard bbq” feel. When we brought this idea to them they were very agreeable and worked with us to make it exactly what we needed. They were extremely professional during our reception. They were constantly making sure we had enough food and drink, replenishing whenever something was looking low. They gave us, the bride and groom, and the bridal party especially good service, asking if we ever needed water or a drink whenever they passed by us. They made sure we (my husband and I) were first to get food and even boxed us up a meal for the hotel room at the end of the night.

In addition, we had so much fun at the 2 tastings we did with them before the wedding. The owners/ managers were professional yet very inviting. Funny enough, the tastings are actually a very nice memory for my husband and I.

Here is the biggest compliment of all: I have an aunt who has every dietary restriction that anyone can think of. She NEVER eats at weddings. However, after our wedding she said that she absolutely LOVED the food and couldn’t get enough. Ben was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I bombarded him with emails leading up to my wedding day and he always got back to me right away. He made great suggestions that fit what we were looking for. On my wedding day, his staff was on top of it! They made sure my husband and I had everything we needed (a drink and apps while we signed our certificate, getting us drinks during dinner, packing up his and her to-go boxes for the end of the night). The best part though is all the compliments we got from our wedding guests. We had a buffet (which are usually mediocre at best at weddings) but the guests kept telling us how great the food was. We chose Pyramid Catering for our wedding originally because the food sounded delicious, it worked in our budget, and our venue recommended them. We're very happy we picked Pyramid  From start to finish, the team at Pyramid provided excellent customer service and support to make sure we were satisfied. We couldn't have been happier and more appreciative of Pyramid's exellent job at our wedding!  Thank you Ben and staffs! Pyramid catered our 165 people wedding in Tacoma Union Station in July this year, and the  food and customer service couldn't have been better!  Note that the venue doesn't have a kitchen, so Ben had to rent 2 ovens and a tent to cook outside of the premise, and yet delivered a great meal to my guests  EVERYONE LOVED THE FOOD!! we were in touch with Ben & Michael from Pyramid and both of them were so easy to work with and responded so fast. They made the whole process fun! I can't even tell you how many people have told us how amazing our wedding food was since our wedding day and it's only been a couple weeks! So many people have told us that it was the best wedding food they had ever had and we were so happy to hear that. What can I say - choosing a caterer for my wedding was stressing me out! I don't live in Seattle, so I only had a week to try different venders, and after looking at several (who will remain nameless), the food was either only okay, the service was unreliable, or the prices were insane (and sometimes, all three). Ben was such a pleasure to plan our wedding with! He was very flexible and receptive to all of our ideas. And the food was so delicious! I can’t count how many times we heard how great the food was from our guests. Even the photographer commented that it was among the best she’d had. But I really want to compliment the staff, whose flexibility and willingness to help out truly saved my wedding. The ceremony had to be postponed, and staff were unbelievably fantastic at adapting – they readily changed the hall from row seating to table reception seating and got the bar and buffet setup with practically no notice (they even lit my candles and hung my cake backdrop, which I’d forgotten in the chaos!). They always put me first, bringing me champagne (before the alcohol we had purchased even made it to the venue!) and hors d’oeuvres before I could ask for them. Once the ceremony was ready to begin, they finished clearing plates and removed the head table so that the ceremony could proceed in an “Oscar setting”. I cannot say enough about how phenomenal Ben and his staff were. Ben had catered a friend's wedding last year and we were so impressed by the quality of the dinner menu at that wedding that we knew we wanted to have him cater our wedding.

When we contacted him and shared that we wanted to do 'breakfast for dinner' at our evening wedding, we gave him all of the creative freedom to put together a menu without any input from us. What he came up with was AMAZING and DELICIOUS. We were blown away at our tasting by pork belly & egg sliders, maple cayenne bacon, steak breakfast burritos, lox & cream cheese, and so many other delicious items. At our tasting we also realized that Ben is basically a wedding planner - he designed the table layout for our event based on the actual venue space, had all of our linen color options as well as glassware, flatware and silverware ready to choose that very day. We built out a sample table setting and were really able to begin envisioning our wedding. He also let us provide our own alcohol for our wedding which was a huge savings.

The staff who was on site for our wedding was led by Rita, s an absolute joy & incredibly professional. She came the day before the wedding to set up all of the table cloths and napkins and we were able to work out additional logistics together since our head count changed the week leading up to our wedding (190 guests). On the day of the wedding she was sure to bring us plates of food to make sure we ate, our champagne glasses early for toasts and made a game time call to break down the buffet early enough for toasts to begin without breaking down tables while they were happening. She was so thoughtful and we were so lucky to have her there running the show. Plus, the food was AMAZING and our guests absolutely LOVED it. We had rave reviews all throughout the evening.

We used Pyramid Catering for our 4/29 wedding and were very pleased with the whole experience. Ben and his staff definitely know what they're doing and have their system down pat. We started with their suggested menu for our 90 guests and ended up tweaking a few items to fit our tastes. They have so many choices available you're sure to find something for everyone (we included a vegan and vegetarian entree in ours that were delicious). The tasting was really fun, with Ben serving us essentially our whole menu and sending us off with some leftovers. His catering workbook is very helpful, including things like a timeline, floor plan with table layout, and amount of alcohol you need to purchase which he helped calculate. On the day of the wedding the staff were prompt, efficient, and professional. The lead (Tasha, I think?) was extremely nice and clearly wanted to make sure everything went smoothly for our event. She was kind enough to bring us each a plate of hors d'oeuvres while we signed our paperwork after walking down the aisle, starving from a long day of photos and nerves. The buffet was arranged beautifully, and a lot of guests commented on how good the food was. I wish I wasn't so busy chatting it up to get seconds! The catering team ensured everything happened on schedule from hors d'oeuvres to dinner to doling out champagne toasts and serving cake. If you have not had the pleasure of working with Pyramid Catering and the amazing team here, you should. I first discovered Pyramid Catering at a dear friend's wedding and then recommend to my cousin for her wedding. So, when it came time hire a caterer for my company's holiday party last year, it was a no-brainer. Ben and his team were amazing. They worked with me on my budget and helped my vision come to life - and the staff who worked the event were ever so attentive. Needing a great menu once more this year for the company holiday party I turned to Pyramid again and the same great food and service was a joy to have apart of the festivities.  Might I suggest and highly encourage you try their mac & cheese bar, it was a huge hit and a great addition to the party this year. Ben and his team are great! We loved going to their tastings before our wedding and trying the delicious food options, it really helped us pick the best menu for us. I didn't have high expectations because I've been to a lot of weddings where the food was just okay, but this food was really good! We had guests raving about it all night. Pyramid Catering provided an excellent atmosphere for our student-run university celebration in early June. We contracted with Pyramid to provide a catered buffet dinner, bartending, tableware, and linens for a 6 hour event attended by 200-220 people. From the beginning, I appreciated the company's online tool to scope out meal plans, rentals, and labor costs. Having little experience with event planning in the past, this gave me a good idea of what to expect, without any pressure to use Pyramid.Company owner Ben Jablonsky was helpful, both in providing options and recommendations. He was very patient with my newbie status, and also with my group's collective decision-making approach. He objectively helped me understand the trade-offs between quality and cost. I felt like he represented himself as a real partner, rather than vendor, for our group and event.The company's real treasure came out in the service provided by the staff the day and night of the event. Our group took care of decorations and attending to guests, while the serving staff and bartenders did everything else: setting up tables and chairs, appetizers we bought ourselves, the bar, and buffet food containers, and then cleaning up everything once the night was over after 12am. You can't really appreciate how much energy this saved us; wheeling and unfolding 25+ tables and 200+ chairs, and setting them up beautifully, takes real energy, and the staff did it with professionalism and hospitality.The small hiccups with the event -- there will always be some, people! -- were primarily a result of our group's unfamiliarity with event planning, with a few missed details. THE IMPORTANT THING is that the staff on site rolled with the punches and adjusted, never revealing frustration or resentment. In the end, the hiccups remained minor, and our guests enjoyed an excellent evening.On a budget, we went with the Celebration Dinner Buffet, and the basic hard tableware and linens. Pyramid catered a friends wedding and was also one of the preferred vendors from our venue. We decided to go with Pyramid because the quality of their food, and reasonable price range!

Just a week before the wedding, we found out our venue did not have a freezer to store our ice cream for our ice cream bar, which meant we would have had to make substantial changes to our dessert menu. Pyramid Catering did our daughters wedding in August.  Everyone said the food was delicious-it was. LOVED the appetizers!  Ben was great-and easy -to work with, facilitated all the rentals and everything leading up to the event .  Rita- our day of head chef- was so great.  In fact all of the staff were really good-efficient pleasant hard-working.  Everything was exactly as expected as far as the menu that was planned.  They boxed up all the leftovers and sent the bride and groom on their way with a to go box of food and cake. We hired Pyramid Catering for our September 2014 wedding at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish, WA. They did such an amazing job, we are so happy we chose them! Ben was an absolute dream to work with! He covers all the details with you at your first tasting so that if you do decide to go with Pyramid for your event (which you should!) you don't have to take time out to come back for all this. He is so detail oriented which I loved and was so willing to work with us in order to help us stay within our budget. He helped us figured out how much alcohol we would need and gave us a lot of good tips that saved us a lot of money. Ben and his team were simply the best for our recent wedding reception! We had gotten many MANY quotes before finding Pyramid through yelp. Can I just say that the Pyramid quite was less than 1/4 the smallest quote we had received before we found them AND in the end we ended up paying even less than our quote! The food was so delicious and it was presented in a beautiful way. I am a vegetarian, but my husband is not. Ben knew exactly what we wanted before even meeting us. Once we met in person he really "got it". In a way, he ended up being our personal wedding planner. We had so many questions for him he ended up helping us understand what kind of event we really wanted. His staff was extremely professional, on time (early even!) and fast. We utilized Ben and his professional team for our non-profit organization's Fall Vision Banquet this past weekend.  We decided on Pyramid Catering because they were a lot more reasonable price wise, but also came with some stellar reviews.  Ben was super easy to work with, professional, friendly, and offered a delicious range of food options for a very good price compared to other catering outfits in the region.  His staff was on time, courteous, and great to work with.  Several people at our event came up to me and raved about the quality and presentation of the food.  Many wanted to know who we were using as they too were non-profit organizational leaders themselves who were on the lookout for good event catering options.  I couldn't recommend Ben & Pyramid more eagerly/highly.  Our experience with them was top-notch!  Thank you, Ben Jablonsky and your excellent team! Ben and his team catered our Daughter's wedding August 2, 2014. Our venue was in Snohomish and we highly recommend them. The menu was so unique, very delicious, and reasonably priced. We received so many compliments on the food and presentation. What I liked most was the SUPPORT I received from Liz and Jenn as the wedding took place. I was nervous about not having a wedding coordinator, but they filled in seamlessly. They worked closely with the venue owner and the DJ and everything went so smoothly. My husband found Pyramid Catering for our wedding and we are so happy with how everything turned out! We were planning our wedding from out of town, and Ben was very responsive. We set up a tasting for when we were back in town and the food was great - we were sold! They are super affordable and what saved us the most money for our big day. We loved doing family style (instead of buffet or individual plating) and their plating on the large plates as well as the tray passed appetizers looked nice for photos. Our experience with Pyramid Catering was positive from start to finish.  They provided food and bartending services for our wedding in April and everything was perfect.  We chose our favorite buffet menu off the website and then changed 2 or 3 of the entrees to agree more with my vegetarian diet.  Pyramid was willing to change anything we wanted on the menu, which was very nice.  We attended two of their open houses before our event for a chance to taste a lot of their best menu items and decide whether we wanted to include those items at our wedding.  The open houses were always enjoyable and the food was always delicious!  Come wedding day, there were two things that stuck out in my mind.  One was when I had come inside to sit down (sitting is rare when you're the bride) while everyone else was still enjoying the sunny weather outside.  I was slouching on the couch and looking nervous, I'm sure, for the upcoming ceremony.  The bartenders were in the same room setting up for the cocktail hour and asked if I needed a drink (alcoholic or otherwise).  It was so thoughtful of them, especially because they stopped what they were doing to make sure I was happy.Two was after we went through the buffet line and I was about to go upstairs to the reception hall.  One of Pyramid's staff kindly asked if she could carry my plate for me so that I could walk up the stairs in my wedding dress without spilling on myself.  That was completely unexpected and so awesome!The rest of the night was flawless and I never heard any complaints about the service or the food.  In fact, everyone I talked to said the food was great!Thank you Pyramid! If there was an option for a higher rating than five stars, I would give it. Our wedding reception was comprised of a two story historic location and had many elements that were handled like clock work by Pyramid Catering. We were personal friends with almost all of our other vendors, so hiring catering was something I thought would be stressful, however it couldn't have been easier. Ben and his whole staff, servers & bartenders, made our day so very special! Ben went above and beyond with his guidance and advice through the food planning and even with planing details unrelated to food. His flexibility and promptness made the whole process much less stressful than I had anticipated. I have to tell you that not only have our guests been telling us that the food was amazing, but that it was the best they've ever had at a wedding! The servers helped everyone have a good time, were thoughtful, very friendly and very professional. I couldn't have hand picked a better group. It's one thing for guests to rave about decor of how great the food was but when they are telling me how nice, fun, outgoing professional the staff was... I was even more impressed. They catered to husband and I, and I am very thankful for that but the red carpet treatment was extended to our guests in the same fashion and made a huge impact on the experience everyone had. We had multiple people are coming up to find me and tell me how nice the servers and bartenders were and how much they loved the food from appetizers to all of the options and presentation. Completely didn't expect that and am overjoyed that it happened. Ben, Emily, and the Pyramid Catering Team went above and beyond with their outstanding service! Ben helped us with planning things that went beyond food and drinks - venue set up, timeline, etc. On the day of, the Pyramid Team helped to clean up things that they weren't responsible for - even going so far as to transport something that belonged to us, not them, after the reception was over. There were several things on the day-of that they "upgraded" without telling us, or charging us, and the catering staff was friendly and professional, never in the way. To be clear, the food was good (several guests went out of their way to say so) and presented well, but it wasn't a five-star restaurant (but hey, for the price, it was great). I used these guys for my wedding last  month and couldn't have been more pleased. Everyone commented that the food was amazing. The service was great. When they discovered that I had forgotten to order cake plates from my rental company they figured it out quickly and seamlessly. No issues. They packed and labeled all the leftovers. Did a great job cleaning up. The staff and owner where easy to work with and always responded very quickly to any questions. I'm not sure why the other poster had a hard time getting in touch with Ben because that was not my experience at all. We are very pleased with our experience and would recommend Pyramid to any and all. More...

What great food! So many of our guests complimented how great the food was, and it was delicious. There wasn’t really any leftover food to take home with us. It was nice working with a company that delivers the whole package...linens, dishware, bartender ect..and they do all the set up and clean up too.
