I called with a last minute request at the end of a busy day and the owner not only went out of his way to meet me there, but hand cut, boxed up and packaged it himself. Where do I even begin?! Seriously most amazing cheesecake I have ever had! I ordered a Turtle Cheesecake for my dad's birthday. Wow! I feel like I just experienced Cheesecake for the first time. I have had cheesecake from several places, but after experiencing Purple Mountain, everything I've tried in the past has been mediocre. We didn't have an appointment or order in, we just stopped by unexpectedly not realizing they were made to order. They could have turned us away but did not. They were so friendly and even though we're about to close, invited us in to see what they had that we could buy right them. I had a strawberry cheesecake in mind as that's normally what I always get. I'm quite glad they didn't have one already made, because I got to experience their mini Oreo cheesecake and Carmel Apple cheesecake. They were both incredible, but the Carmel apple is truly my new favorite desert. Those were the BEST Cheesecakes I have ever experienced on my life. I am going to be placing an order for a Strawberry Cheesecake and another Carmel Apple. Seriously, you HAVE to their Carmel Apple. I love supporting small businesses like this. We served 7 different cheesecakes at our son and daughter-in-love's rehearsal dinner. The cheesecakes were a wonderful finish to the dinner. They were delicious,creamy and beautiful!! There was one minor error made,we had ordered fruit and the kitchen was not made aware of it. Tammi was so apologetic and even drove it out to our hotel!! Customer service at its finest!! I requested a mix of my two favorites, Keylime Pie and Cheesecake and Purple Mountain delivered. I didnt quite know what to expect mixing these two but I was greatly impressed. I opened the box to see a beautifully decorated cake. From first bite the flavor profile was spot on. It wasnt too tangy or sour if you will. The cake itself was light and perfect consistency. I had just heard about Purple Mountain and thought maybe they'd have some already made up desserts for me to buy in house. Unfortunately I learned it was by order only and being the Thursday afternoon before Easter, I was worried. The staff was so friendly and right away said they could have a raspberry cheesecake done for me by that Saturday morning. I took it to Easter lunch and it was a huge hit.
