Incredible moving company. We've moved 3 times with Purely Move and the company is great. When we first moved to Mission Viejo the owner Zach was hands on and helped us from storage to our house. Then we used Purely Move for our move to Fountain Valley. Again great packing and professional helpful service. This time we're moving out of the area and Donte and Gabe helped us move. We had an absolutely packed 16 foot trucked but because they packed so well we still had some space; a testament to their experience. They also wrapped all of our glass and wood to make sure it wouldn't be moving around during transit. After all that work we had finished the job in just 2 hours. With how much we had to move and our moving window (today is a work day for me), the value Purely Move provided is immeasurable. Jeff, Carlos, and crew just finished our move to a three level condo and we're so thankful we hired Purely Move. They carried incredibly heavy furniture, including a washer and dryer up narrow stairs, and a king bed and mattress up two flights of stairs! They disassembled and reassembled our big pieces of furniture quickly and had us check everything to see if we needed any adjustments or additional rearranging when they were finished. Instagram was creeping on me and knew I was moving so they showed me this ad to get quotes for local moves. I filled it out and Jon replied right away and really sold me! He was so friendly, courteous and thorough. I really didn't have any questions after our call because he already anticipated my needs and provided me all the info I needed. I got some other calls for quotes afterwards and even if it was less money, I would still go with Purely Move! I love that I was informed the entire time. The follow up emails were great, really put me at ease. I was able to confirm my appointment by paying a deposit. That also ended up being really nice because I didn't have to pay as much once the move was done. The movers were on right on time and worked quickly to get everything done. They even reassembled by bed for me. The parking at the new complex was very small and they were able to navigate the large truck just fine. First time hiring movers and I was NOT disappointed. These guys were great! Communication was great all through the process (scheduling through the actual move). The day of the move the crew showed up on time and ready to work. All had great attitudes and energy, unlike me haha. First time using a moving service and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it! Impressed from beginning to end! From the first phone call, I felt taken care of. I'll probably NEVER move homes by myself again. I highly recommend using Purely Move. Their quotes are the most accurate and honest. When i originally got quoted from them I thought the price seemed high for my budget so i looked around for a better deal. I got other quotes and decided to go with the lower one thinking it was more around my budget. Long story short I ended up paying them more than double of what they quoted me and it actually exceeded the quote from Purely Move. After moving into my new house, Purely Move reached out to me to see how everything went and  how they can improve their business (the moving company i used didn't even do this). Phenomenal service. Movers were extremely professional and trustworthy. Once they arrived, they were very quick and began moving the furniture and boxes immediately. Once we arrived to the new home, the movers were really fast in unloading everything and getting it inside. They were safe and wore masks the entire job. If you're moving long distance, do yourself a favor and hire these guys. THEY ARE AMAZING.Don't take my word for it. Do a quick Yelp search for "Best movers in Orange County" look at the highest rated companies, and filter their reviews to the lowest ratings. Horror stories abound. I had no ideas that some long distance companies essentially sub-contract the move with those huge van lines. Or that your household might be mingled with someone else's. Or that shipments get lost. Yikes! After reading the horror stories I reconsidered the idea of us moving ourselves. But we had lots of heavy antiques, a home gym and tons of plants. Plus we were in dual escrow and both working. We just didn't have the bandwidth to do our own move.I returned to Yelp, thinking, "Surely somebody runs a moving company better." Which was when I saw Purely Move's Yelp listing: Two guys who started a moving company after they'd both had horrible moves. Sounded promising. I checked their lowest reviews. No horror stories. Whew.I gave them a call and one of the owners, Jessie, picked up. We had an in-depth discussion of the job, with Jessie asking more questions than the other two companies I'd called that day. Things were looking better and better. Then Jessie came in as the low bid.The next phase of the job allowed me to create an inventory of everything we'd be moving. Their software was intuitive, and revealing. When I'd taken finished, Jessie called me back. Diplomatically he asked more questions about our household. I found myself wanting to downplay how much we had, which is absolutely the worst thing to do. Who wants the movers to arrive with too small a truck, or not enough crew, because you didn't want to admit how much stuff you'd accumulated over the last decade? My favorite moment of that call was when I (belatedly) remembered a whole group of items we had in storage. Jessie laughed out loud and said, "Miguel, you're killing me." Maybe not the most professional comment, but funny and honest. In the end, Jessie reluctantly recommended we use two trucks. I think he was worried about starting with a low bid and then increasing. But his revised bid was still slightly under the other two companies.Phase two was the Yo-Yo Schedule. Our escrow was delayed three times in six weeks. Though I had tried to buffer the moving schedule, I still had to reschedule IT twice. Which gave me the opportunity to talk with the other owner, Zach. Both times he was extremely flexible. I really appreciated how much Purely Move stretched to accommodate the crazy escrow schedule.Which takes us to the best part of the move, the actual moving! The crew was great. Friendly, communicative, upbeat, competent and fast. They sent two trucks, one to our storage, another to the house. We stayed in synch by texting. I met Dante at our storage unit. Once they got started, I felt perfectly comfortable leaving them to load the remainder and clean up the storage unit. (I'd taped plastic around the entire perimeter of the unit to block spills from neighboring units. Dante volunteered to pull it all up and throw it away so that I could get back to the house.) He texted me a photo of the cleared and cleaned unit. Very professional.The loading crew (CJ, Dante, Damian, Mark, Aaron, Jeff, and Brandon) got everything on the trucks by early afternoon and departed on the seven-hour drive north. The next morning, the unloading crew (CJ, Dante, Damian and Gavin) arrived with the two trucks at our new home. We had the only surprise of the move when we discovered the taller truck could not clear the low-hanging oak branches in the (steep, narrow) driveway. After about an hour of maneuvering, and trying to clear the branches with tools ready at hand, I started to worry they would say they needed delay the move and get a smaller truck. But never fear. The four guys finally found a way to finesse the 13' truck past the 11' branch. It was a great example of the "Do whatever it takes" mindset you see with high-end moving companies. After that, the unloading was a breeze. The crew was energetic and friendly throughout. They accommodated my request for no shoes on the carpet. They quickly understood which rooms in the house mapped to the staging labels on all the boxes, and placed all the boxes and items where the labels indicated. They never stopped asking if there was more they could do, if we wanted various items moved or shifted, and if we were happy with how things were going. After the stressful intensity of dual escrows, their cheerful focus on getting the job done well, and quickly, was refreshing. They were a joy to work with. I hope we don't move for another twenty years. But if we do, I know who we'll call to do the heavy lifting. More...

My husband, baby, and I moved last Sunday and had been shopping around for movers, well, entertaining the idea of movers. We've moved four times in the last two years . I cannot recommend these guys enough!!! This was our first time getting movers, and they far exceeded our expectations. Dante and Damien were the two that showed up to help, but everyone I had spoken to via email and phone were super cool as well. Definitely gives you a very family and friends vibe. As a woman, I didn't feel like I was dealing with intimidating men just trying to squeeze as much money out of me as possible (always happens). The price was EXTREMELY reasonable, and they took good care of all of our stuff. Our family came to help us unpack and they had nothing but great things to say about the movers as well! All I can say is that this company and crew were awesome. Jessie answered all my questions and was super friendly and easy going.  The crew (Carlos, Sam and Aaron YOU GUYS ROCK!) arrived on time on Sunday to load up my moms house. Happy to wear masks for my as my mother is very sick They were efficient and careful- wrapped up everything nicely. They followed direction- some stuff need to be dropped off at storage and some stuff came to our house and they got it right. They had to move a bunch of  heavy furniture upstairs and never complained and were super careful. I asked a favor to move some boxes from my house to storage after 8 hours and they did it no complaints They all just had great attitudes and were genuinely nice guys- it really meant a lot during this very stressful time in my life. Our movers Carlos and Jeff were great. They were very friendly, respectful, did a good job padding/wrapping furniture to protect it during our move from north county to south county, and got it out of our old place/into our new place without issue. When the bed wouldn't fit up the narrow staircase they knew exactly how to get it up/in through the upstairs slider door on the balcony. Same with the fridge, quickly figuring out the best way to maneuver/rotate it around when it didn't initially fit through the kitchen doorway. They were understanding and respectful of safety precautions during this Covid pandemic. I'd definitely recommend Carlos and Jeff as a moving team. Zach was also very on top of things and helpful as we were getting initial quotes and booking our move--he also was immediately on it when I accidentally typed 2202 instead of 2020 when scheduling! The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is it took nearly all of the 3 hour minimum to pad + load + unload a couple couches, coffee table, desk, ikea island/counter, mattress/box spring, a large bookcase, and a coupe end tables. If we'd had lots of boxes, or if my wife and I hadn't already moved on our own the smaller pieces of furniture (bookcases, dinette table, dresser/armoire), TVs, dishes/flatware/glasses/pots/pans, all our clothing, the bed frame, photos/art/decorations, etc... it seems like it would have been a very long and expensive day--especially if we'd utilized the included packing options offered in our quoted rate. It all did indeed fit the bill exactly for what we needed, and was accomplished in the time frame expected. Foot prints  on my white couch, broken bowl, scrapped my refrigerator I bought a year ago. They had troller for boxes and they carried one box out at a time. Tanner and the young man did not seem experienced at leading, not organizer, better for just lifting.I went to pick up keys was gone for a couple hours, when I returned only a few boxes were on the cart.So two stars for being polite the lacking scores, for men's  foot print on couch, scapping and scratching my refrigerator, and little to no organizational skills. Great experience with this moving company. They came on time, carefully disassembled/wrapped furniture as needed, and packed the truck very efficiently. You don't need to pack everything in boxes (I had put some stuff in tote bags) but its suggested to make the moving process a lot quicker. Delicate items I took in my own car. Even with it being a hot Summer day and our apartment being on the 3rd floor, the total time ended up being less than I expected. Zach was very quick to give me an initial quote at a great rate. He was a little behind schedule due to an unforeseen circumstance, and added additional help for my move.
