Buyer beware! Once they get you signed up they make it impossible to cancel.
If only that were the only issue…
They encourage you to workout beyond your abilities resulting in injury. I was modifying to fit my current ability and the instructor walked over and shoved my leg down farther… no permission, no prior conversation about my fitness level or anything. Predatory sales and terrible experience with the regional manager, Chelsea Rogers. They act really friendly at first but that’s just to get your money. They are not your friends. I thought I was buying a package, and then they started charging me every month! I didn’t even ask for a refund, just for the charges moving forward to stop. I requested the cessation two weeks prior to the next charge and just days after beginning with the studio and told them I could not use any additional credits for the new billing cycle for many reasons, including the new developments with Omicron, but most importantly due to a recent foot surgery. I also offered to retroactively pay full drop/in price for all classes I had taken under this “‘membership.” I am not trying to get something for nothing. I was outright ignored. No response at all. I sent another email saying I hoped to receive a response as I didn’t want to resort to calling my bank. Ignored. They take your money, keep charging your card once they have it on file for stuff you never bought, and then completely ignore you. Also, the workouts do not compare to Xtend barre or other boutique barre studies both when it comes to results and to enjoyment of the workouts. I bought PB packages during Black Friday, and my location closed since the end of December, no refund and no advance notice. I contacted the customer service team online and no respond, I called and emailed the local PB, no respond. Please stay away from Pure Barre, if something happens, they take your $$$ and disappear. I signed up the $99 /month plan and was told that I would have to sign up for no less than 3 months to get the rate. I did so thinking that they would stop taking money out of my account at the end of the 3 month period. Not only did they not stop taking money from my account, but they took $179 out of my account at the fourth month! Because apparently after 3 months you have to start paying full price! Who on earth would agree to that. Not only have they stolen my money and refuse to give me a refund, but they expect me to actually show up for classes now! More...

I took the free class which was really good but then they said it’s $159 a month which I think is way too expensive. A few weeks later they said we have an introductory rate $99 for three months. I had to get some dental work done so this morning I sent a text about taking classes.

I was told we don’t have the special anymore it’s 159 to me that seems dishonest and bait and switch so I won’t be doing business with them I don’t think they really care they didn’t seem to More...

Customer service is crap. Also, I did a free class and was interested in signing up, I told them I’d call them or text them with payment info but on second thought two days later I said I was no longer interested. They continued to charge me (without payment info) so I racked up three months worth of a bill that they then submitted to credit bureaus despite me emailing and telling them I would begrudgingly pay the first month to get it taken care of. Pure Barre (Naples) is my favorite workout place . The studio is super friendly and not threatening if you are first timer or someone like me who has been doing the workout for a while . I love that I can attend the class and come out rejuvenated and stronger than I started . It is tiny movements but big changes !

Just started Pure Barre again after a 7 year gap. So far, I am loving the staff and classes. Not sure if the app was available back in 2013, but I had no clue about it. So handy!! Once you sign up for pure barre GO you cannot cancel or unsubscribe. They have no cancellation option and their help page gives incorrect directions. I’ve submitted 2 cancellation request tickets and I continue to be charged every month. Be Aware!! More...

Pure Barre switched the On-Demand platform to pure barre Go. This new version is difficult to use on an iPad, but I was unable to cancel my account, see any record of my membership, or get any reply from contacting Pure Barre on their website. I do not recommend anyone use their online platform. I am very disappointed. After trying to cancel my membership and not succeeding, I assumed the switch to Go would have automatically canceled any existing On-Demand membership, but I just got charged today! More...

Beware, do not try Pure Barre On Demand. They will charge you even if you cancel prior to the date that you renew. AND if you delete your account after canceling, you can't even get in to dispute. I only would recommend this for very fit women. Mainly fit Millennial. They falsely advertise to get you to come in and join. I think the facility is lovely, but when you tell them you would like to cancel as you feel the class is too advanced for your age and skill level, they are rude and refuse to honor this request even if you have only joined 1 class.
