I have left my 2 Chihuahua mixes with Max for several holiday weekends. They are much smaller than his dog Luna but she was so sweet and gentle and they all played well together and had the time of their lives! Max has care for our cat who does not like many people at all and runs from almost everybody who comes to the door, but she took to him like and old friend and even let her pet her which is even rarer! I have also been to his house and watched how he trained his dog and a newer dog he recently adopted. He had the sitting quietly waiting while their food was prepared and placed it on the floor and looked at them and after about 30 seconds said ok and then they got up and ate, and they do that for me as well, it did not take him long at all to do that and I would suggest him for his training alone, the other thing I find amazing is how well his dogs play with the dogs brought by his clients! It more like play dates than putting them in a kennel! He also takes them to the doggie parks or under the bridge and throw the balls so they get exercised and they love it! Highly suggest him! I have tried many overnight dog sitters, both kennel style and home, and I have never seen my dog happier than when he is with Max. Max took care of our beloved Lady for several years when he lived in Portland, Oregon. Lady has been deaf since birth and is a bit of a tender soul, so we were concerned about finding a dog sitter who was in tune with her needs. Max turned out to be the best caretaker we could have hoped for. Lady was always well cared for with Max. She went to the park with him and the pack every day and always had a great time - with lots of exercise! Max is completely reliable, incredibly kind to the animals, and really wonderful to work with for the humans. When Max would come to pick up Lady, she'd prance right out the door with him, tail wiggling, and jump right in his car - a vast change from the cowering she did when other sitters came.
