My pops is a big pulque drinker and he heard about this place over the radio so we came by to try it out and not really expecting much but boy were we wrong! ! Great food and great pulque! They had generous portions and everything was cooked to perfection! I will say that it does take some time to get your food but it was worth the wait! The pulque made my pops remember when he used to live in El D.F and my mom was beyond pleased with her plate (as you can tell in the pictures). I highly recommend the Tampiqueña! More...

I went at 10 am. Between ordering the food and receiving it about 20 minutes passed. For a party of 4 gratuity fee of 18% was applied. The food and service itself was very good. Other than the gratuity fee which I feel everything was amazing. Fui a las 10 am. Duro 20 minutos en servir la comida despues de poner la orden. Me cargaron 18% de "tarifa de propina" por un grupo de cuatro. La comida estuvo buena y el servicio tambien. Si vas a éste lugar debes probar el pulque que preparan, hay en varios sabores, el de coco está muy bueno. También la barbacoa es super rica, en general la comida es buena, aunque es caro comer aquí

This is my first time at La Pulqueria since they relocated from Berwyn. Just GREAT!!!!  I had the shrimp enchiladas and they were prepared just perfect. The mango pulque (reson why I'm here) was delicious. It was kind of quiet this sunday evening but I know they do have special events and space for private parties.If you are open to try new things, this is the place!! Pilsen in getting on the entertainment escene and La pulqueria is a great opcion.Thank you for the goos service and the great food and pulque, I will be back soon. More...

Liked the food my company and I had, The music setting was good, we where the only ones there at the time and the waitress could not get off her phone so our service wasn't good; she forgot about an order we place, and was everywhere but paying attention to our table, which is why I only give this place a 4 star.
