Providence Design

I have worked with Talena for over two years. She and the Providence team helped me make final decisions during the building process and with decorating my home. I have found Talena to be very kind and warm but most importantly very professional. She listens to me when I describe what I like and don’t like, she is respectful of my budget and she is quick to find solutions. She was very “hands on” during the building process and she was even willing to speak directly to my contractors or sub-contractors when we had questions so I wouldn’t have to be the go-between. This saved me a lot of time and headache.I have worked with other Providence staff members multiple times and I have only known them to be kind, courteous and helpful.My husband (who usually does not enjoy spending money) loves Providence Design and he has called Talena the most professional person we have worked with during our whole building process.I cannot recommend Providence Design more highly. I can’t say enough good things about Talena and her staff at Providence Design. After seeing the beautiful job she did on my sister-in-laws house, I decided to use her for my project. The paint colors, fabrics, furniture, pillows and accessories she picked out turned my breakfast room and den into an area that is not only beautiful, but also comfortable. She was careful to stay within my budget, and blended the new things in with my existing antiques. I can truly say I love everything she picked out! She is so talented and sweet! This store is the best ever! I love to go there. The sisters and their staff cannot be beat. I have bought several pieces there. Everything has been perfect for our new home. I was captivated by the gorgeous pillows on Providence Design's recent blog and decided to contact them. I have enjoyed every minute of working with the team at Providence Design! From the initial meeting with Talena and Mona when they visited my home, to the last details being added at the end of a project, it has been a joy! Talena led me every step of the way through a bathroom and bedroom renovation in 2027. I approached the project with a little trepidation because I was not sure of exactly what I wanted. Talena guided me through tile, fixture, paint, wallpaper and flooring choices. In the bedroom, she finished the project in her special way, with lots of very pleasant surprises! A year later we tackled a huge kitchen remodel, and again, Talena and her team “held my hand” through all the choices and ordering. They chose things based on our preferences and needs and also introduced so many things we wouldn’t have thought of. Everything was completed in a timely manner, and I was kept in the loop throughout the process of ordering fabrics and furniture. Mona and Talena of Providence Design have helped me with “updating” my home throughout the years. The first update started on the downstairs in March 2007 which included new paint color, new carpet in the bedroom, some new furniture, reupholstering older furniture, new drapes, new countertops, new hardware on the cabinets, new door hardware, new faucets, a new shower and new accessories. They also advised me on the paint colors for the outside trim on my home. Then in 2012 they updated the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom which included new paint, carpet, bedding for all the beds, reupholstering furniture, new wallpaper, pictures and some new accessories. In January 2019 I updated my bedroom and they helped me select a new paint color, carpet, new bedding and accessories. Most recently in May 2019, they helped me select a new paint color for downstairs in the kitchen, living room, dining room and den with new hardware for the kitchen cabinets. They also helped with picking out the stain color for my pine hardwood floors as I was having all the downstairs floors refinished. So since 2007, I have worked with Mona and Talena and sometimes they would be together @ my house or individually. They are timely in getting your home project completed, very mindful of your input and will make every effort to use what you have. They are both gifted individuals but are a team for you whether it’s picking out paint colors, fabrics, furniture, carpet—just whatever you need for your home. They now have a store in Little Rock that has beautiful furniture and accessories. When you walk through the front door, you feel like you are walking into someone’s elegant inviting home and that gives you a glimpse of what these “sisters” can do in your own home. More...

Not enough adjectives to describe my experiences with Providence Design. We waited over 10 years to build our dream home on our property, and once we made the decision to move forward, they worked with us throughout the entire project: Concept, house plans, building process, furnishings, installation, (marriage counseling - lol! ). I honestly do not know how we would have maneuvered through the endless meetings and choices without their input. Because there was a budget to keep in mind, they were intentional about the areas that were really worth the splurge, and the places to conserve. Yes, their ideas were fabulous, however, it was also important to them that our home was a reflection of our family and our lifestyles, as well as a beautiful place to live. Mona and Talena of Providence Design helped me with the updating of my home. I had a few photos of "the look" that I liked and I knew I liked the decorating they had done in other homes.
They were GREAT! They were very timely in getting things done, very mindful of my input and in using what I already had. They knew just what accessory and or furniture to add and were budget conscience to get "the look" I wanted. They were just a joy to work with and I really like EVERYTHING and EVERY CHANGE that was made in my home. It feels "cozy elegant" to me!
