Mark is an amazing piano instructor. He first learns about your personality, learning style, and any prior musical knowledge one may have. Then tailors a lesson plan based off of the information given. His lessons are laid back, enjoyable, and easy to follow. And he will often stop to make sure that the topic discussed is understood. I am going into my 3rd year of Mr. Black’s class and it has been and still is an awesome experience. I haven’t experienced this much excitement about learning anything in a long time. I’ve dreamed of playing Jazz Guitar for ages and I’ve just played “Autumn Leaves”, a jazz standard, at one of Mark’s recitals. That feeling of accomplishment in that moment was magical. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better instructor as Mark Black. Please don’t miss out on the opportunity of a life time by not taking Mark up on his offer. I have been taking guitar lessons with Promethean Studios for the better part of two years now and I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions I've made. After having taken piano lessons since childhood from poor instructors, I was a bit skeptical of starting up again with a new instrument, however Mark is always patient, insightful, and tolerable of my millions of questions during lessons. lol.
