I decided to book a hair and makeup session for a wedding I was going to the next evening - I made the appointment last minute and they were able to accommodate online the day prior.  The salon is located in a complex on Buffalo Speedway with Kroger, European Wax Center, Kenny  & Ziggy's, Bucca di Beppo, etc. so there is plenty of parking!  I came in and my stylist was ready to greet me and offer me a drink (water, infused water, tea..).  She started with my hair - she really listened to what I wanted and showed me pictures of what she was talking about.  I liked what she did and it really held well for my evening wedding ~5 hours later.  It held so well that it never really loosened up the whole night, which she was afraid of cause of the humidity so she curled it a bit tighter for that reason - so much for wanting loose waves but that's just my hair holding curls well =) and it being sprayed so well.  She then moved me to the makeup area and did my makeup.  She did an amazing job giving me what I wanted.  A smokey eye with lots of contouring and highlights!  Amazing!  Cause I'm definitely a makeup noob.  The makeup didn't budge all night with heat, dancing, sweat, etc.  Tabatha aka Tabby was friendly and personable.  They didn't try to oversell you any products and they even had a Mother's Day special for 5 services that didn't expire for like $160.  Tempting!! Y'all. This place is the real deal. I booked an appointment last minute (day of) cause I'm terrible at planning ahead and they had availability. I came in for my appointment at 4:45 and they had the works while I was waiting..coffee, water, soda...the place was really cute and there was good music playing the whole time. Raylissa took care of me. I had a very vague idea of what I wanted and she took what I said I wanted, ran with it and then some. Not only did she do an amazing job with my hair and makeup but she even stayed after the place was technically closed to make sure my hair and makeup were perfect.I can't say enough great things about my experience. Love this place!  I'm a long time member at a competing blow dry salon, and I was very impressed when I first tried out Primp and Blow.  Super nice atmosphere, free coffee and drinks.  I've since had several blow outs here by different stylists and I've always been very pleased.  My usual stylist is Tabby and she is so sweet and goes above and beyond.  They offer a monthly membership for $70 which includes 2 services a month, plus a discount on products and a free deep conditioner monthly.  Blow outs don't roll over so you need to be sure to use them.  They also do make up and lashes, with smashbox products but I've yet to try those services. This was an unbelievable experience!  Tabitha did my hair and makeup for my grad commencement and I felt like a queen!  I got so many compliments and I felt so good.  She was precise and the owner's daughter was working the front desk and was the sweetest!  I highly recommend this place for an amazing experience and they only use Oribe hair products!  An absolutely beautiful salon and just a great place to go for some pampering! Had a wonderful experience at Primp and Blow last Friday before a date night. Leslie is such a great hairstylist and makeup artist. I absolutely loved it! They are just opening which is impressive as everything ran so smoothly and everyone was so very nice.  I will have to go back again so I can post pictures of my looks! West U finally has a Blow Dry Bar. Primp and Blow carries Oribe products and uses Smashbox Cosmetics for makeup. $45 blowouts and $45 makeup. Cant beat those prices. There is also $70 monthly memberships that include 2 blowouts,1 free monthly mask,  10% off of products and 20% off of any additional services. The space is open and airy and very pretty. More...
