Lisa was my Occupational Therapist for years as I navigated the world of horrible “aggressive corrosive osteoarthritis” while working as an educator. An expert in her field, she brought ideas and strategies to the table that allowed me to heal the flare-ups while preventing further damage to my body. I was able to continue working for years with her guidance and support, which no one else was able to provide. Knowing your body from an occupational perspective allows you to take care with the activities you really must or want to do, while protecting your body from the strains and pressures of everyday life.
