We had our son and daughter in laws wedding rehearsal dinner on Friday evening . Carrie was so helpful with all of the arrangements. She even helped with the decorations and the cookie table. We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was more than we could have asked for! We got the upstairs room all to ourselves for the whole evening. Carrie the coordinator told us "your rehearsal dinner should be the least stressful event" and it was!! We had an amazing taco bar and blackberry margaritas that guests raved about. They also decorated the tables for us, so honestly we just showed up and enjoyed the evening!! I would recommend this for events again and again. Thank you for a wonderful event!! More...

Went in for Sunday brunch without knowing the menu was different than what was posted on the website. No big deal, but I was excited about a certain item. The service was friendly but the kitchen was very slow. The food was delicious, but the request to hold the onions was ignored. Good food and a nice tap beer selection, the bartender was very friendly.  Their patio looks very nice, unfortunately we were unable to sit out there as it was raining while we were there.

When traveling for work, restaurants are often a hit or miss. The Dead Presidents Pub is definitely a hit! The pub is pretty cool looking with exposed brick and a couple of wood beams. stopped by here while visiting my sister in Washington. Places like this are my favorite. The kind that you wouldn't ever think or have the opportunity to go to unless you live nearby. My sister lives down the street and we went for lunch with my mom. We got there at a really awkward time, about 3:00 on a Saturday, so there wasn't a wait. It's dark on the inside, but that's to be expected in a pub. I don't drink, but my sister was commenting on how good and unique some of their specialities are. We got the soft pretzel sticks for an appetizer, and those to me were the best part of the meal because they were truly amazing! They were big and soft, and served with warm honey drizzled on them! I could've eaten just those for my meal! I got the special soup of the day (ham and bean) and the California turkey wrap for my entree. The soup was really good and hearty-just what I needed on this chilly day. The wrap was good too, not really anything special, but a good lunch option. I wish I would've gotten what my sister got- the grilled cheese with tomatoes and avocado! It looked delicious and she loved it! I think we will all definitely be back next time we're visiting my sister in Washington. More...

I specifically requested to come here because I needed a quiet dark place for brunch.  Except women's soccer was on and the bar was packed and noisy.  Yuck, I have no interest in that, but luckily it ended soon, and then they put on some nice quiet golf and the crowd cleared out.  I lost track of how many times I have tried to get the  Chesapeake omelet (10? 12?), but I tried again waiting for them to tell me they had no asparagus.  The server didn't say anything, so I expected it to come out with spinach.  RJ ordered the Meat Lovers omelet.  I was drinking a Mimosa, and my omelet arrived.  Asparagus, what  Score!! I finally got my omelet and it was everything I dreamed it would be.  Light and fluffy with huge chunks of crab, swiss cheese and asparagus.  Yum!! RJ enjoyed his Meat Lovers omelet. Ate here after a long, long day when our usual place had already closed their kitchen. I'm quite glad we were pushed out of our rut. To begin with, the guy who greeted and served us was very engaging and nice. He reminded me of John Cena, which is neither here nor there but i want to give him kudos. When we arrived they were only serving the pub menu, but it had some great items. The lobster Mac, mussels, and poutine were our faves and quite delicious.
