I brought 2 of my dogs to Prescott Valley Dog Squad. Miracle workers. My 1 year old pyrenees is now a pleasure to walk. Our dogs have been with Prescott Valley Dog Squad for about a year. I have had nothing but amazing experiences with the whole team! They are ALL so knowledgeable and make themselves available when I have a question even after the session. We are on our 3rd!!! heeler being trained through the dog squad, they learn each dog individually and train them all specifically to their needs. They don’t only train the dog they also train the owners and each time I’m amazed by what I learn. They care so much about each dog, they offer multiple kinds of classes, the facility is always kept clean, and they make every person feel welcomed! Have to stop and say how grateful I am for Prescott Valley Dog Squad. I'm a mobile Diesel mechanic and take my heeler pup, Trexi, with me everywhere. I dropped her off for bored and train a little skeptical, but the pup I got back is a totally new dog. She listens, comes when called, lays in place... Donna is the best! She has helped me so much with Panther! When We first got Panther, walking him was unbearable. He pulled so hard to the point where my hand would hurt just after 5 mins of walking him. He would occasionally trip me on purpose. At that point, the only command he knew was sit, and that was a hit and miss. But now he’s so much better!!! Now he knows the basic commands and more!!! And that’s all thanks to Donna!!! We boarded our 16 month old boxer pup, Gracie with Donna for 18 days. WOW - what can I say about this absolutely amazing young lady. I can’t thank Donna enough for all the private sessions with our two pups (April & Miley). When she started working with them, they had no leash experience and were jumping on visitors and our son. They have come so far with her training & guidance! They are so good on a leash if needed and have stopped the bad jumping habit. April would get carsick and she even took them on a few outings to work on that plus socializing in public places! She also taught them “place” which is by far Amazing! This way we can keep them in the house and know they won’t go nuts & we don’t have to kennel them inside (what we were doing) So if your looking for a dog trainer, I Highly recommend the Prescott Valley Dog Squad! Donna is amazing! She has done 2 sessions with Abby and she is doing so well! Both Abby and I have learned so much already in just 2 sessions! Donna is very knowledgeable, kind, and great to work with. She will focus the training to what you want to work on with your dog. Mallory has been doing our puppy training with Stark and he is doing so good! She is so thorough in explaining why she does something the way she does and helps us understand so we can incorporate his training in all week even after his session is over. She is also very patient and Stark loves her. We can’t wait to keep our training and see how stark can grow and learn. Donna is amazing. She did a board and train for my two pit bulls and they came back totally differently behaved dogs. They walk better on and off leash. They place and stay for as long as you need them to. They come when called. The investment was totally worth every penny and any training she does is stellar. She loves the dogs she trains and is so passionate about people having well behaved dogs because it saves them from being disowned and put in humane society.
