Intentional Dogs would like to thank the the staff for their unwavering commitment to excellence and devotion to providing world class service to their patients and their humans. We have seen doctors and staff go out of their way to accommodate our animals and schedules. We recently had to say good bye to one our girls. Doctor Nicholson and his staff member Kim came to our home to help. As we have rejoiced together in births of pups, we mourn together in losses. PAH has friendly knowledgeable staff. In my experience well and medical appointments take about an hour and a half. They offer free puppy and kitten first time visit well exams. You may want to bring a note pad to remember all the information they tell you. The whole staff is amazing. Dr Nicklson is fantastic with people and pets. I walked in expecting a large surgery for my dog and was hoping to get some antibiotics and an estimate so I could save up for the surgery. I explained that for today I only had a certain dollar amount so that was why I was opting to postpone surgery. He gave me another option, if my dog would allow them to give him a local anesthetic they could simply laser off and cauterize the cyst and stay within my budget. I was floored!!! I explained he's a very mellow dog and that I felt he would allow that. Within 20 minutes the cyst was gone and without having to go under anesthesia he was able to leave with me right then! I have been going to Prairie Animal Hospital for years and will continue to do so. ❤️ More...

This place is so amazing. The doctors are so kind and wonderful with my animals. I have a hampster named peanut and on wendsday night I figured out he had an overgrown tooth that needed to be filed. I called prairie animal hospital because they do my grandmas cat and dog and the got me in the next morning. They were so nice to peanut and now he is happier than ever. He runs and plays and eats nonstop! They were gentle and kind with handling him not to mention how fast it was. When we were traveling and one of our dogs got sick (on Saturday afternoon of course) we called Prairie Animal Hospital, which was only about one block from our RV site. They said bring him in "right now", which we did. They quickly made an accurate diagnosis (pancreatitis), put him on an IV and kept him overnight for observation.
