What do you love most about your job?
I LOVE being a Publicist. Behind every successful business, celebrity and notable figure, there's a Publicist working to make sure their clientele get media coverage and maintain their reputations. I love the daily excitement of working in PR, Branding and Image Consultant. On any given day, we walk into the office with two to three scheduled national interviews. By the end of the day, that number can go up to 10. Working with clients who can react to news of the day makes the day fly by.
I like building relationships with media journalists and working with them to create an amazing story that showcases my client. Also, what I do love the most --- pitching! It's the most exciting part of my job. The crafting of the angle and making the actual call— it never gets old.
What inspired you to start your own business?
What inspired me to create my own PR firm is when I realized in order for me to make it into the “real world” I had to create a platform for people to know who I am and what I love – Entertainment PR and Special Events. My purpose for creating my own agency was to become my own boss and to create a path to success all while being the voice behind the scenes!
