Love this gym! I wouldn't go anywhere else! The staff is real nice and they offer so much! They have awesome group classes too, one of my favorites is Cycling! Love the ladies center as well!

The new spacious changes to the facility make a difference. The membership fees are better than competitors, with better options for those who seek month to month! I have been a member here for about 4-5 years and that’s why I’m keeping my name out of this. The gym is GREAT, lots of good people, clean, good equipment, they’re expanding, they now have fresh and fit apparently which will be game changing. With all of that said though here are the cons I have noticed. 1. Seems Stefan no longer works there, he was clearly the best employee the gym had seen. 2. They re-did the bathroom but got rid of the paper towels and replaced it with a handblower which doesn’t work well. 3. There’s lots of equipment that needs replacing like the multi-workout machine in the middle that’s been there forever. The cables on that thing break constantly. 4. Hopefully with this new expansion the dumbbell free weight section will be bigger since it gets so busy over there. 5. Add more different types of machines. Planet fitness has a whole assortment of different types. Even if it’s just one specific type, it creates diversity among the machines. 6. Quit having your certain employees try to sell me IDLIFE. It’s a horrible pyramid scheme and I hear about it almost every day. I’m there to workout, not get my ear talked off about it constantly. 7. Lots of the treadmills have problems, and don’t get me started on the stair climbing machines. I use both almost every single morning and they constantly have issues. 8. Get the employees to put up weights more often, Stefan used to be on top of that like crazy. And it’s not like the gym members are good at doing it. 9. Start checking people’s memberships when they come through the mall. I see countless people that stroll in that I’ve never seen before and doubt they have memberships. I question it because they look around before walking in to see if anyone’s looking. 10. Most important one of all! Get rid of your asinine, womanizing new manager! Orlando is a disgrace to this gym. Between him hitting on every single girl that comes in there to always trying to sell his pyramid scheme to not keeping up with cleanliness. His videos he does are very immature for representation of our gym and he never even dresses professionally as a manager. Stefan left and you put the exact opposite of what we needed. Orlando is the worst employee I’ve seen there since i started in 2014. If you don’t believe me, ask around, you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. At Powerhouse, people get out of your way when you’re as swoll as a brick house. They don’t mind you taking pics in your underwear and show the gym your gainz. Hello, Just wanted to drop by and say that this gym is wonderful! Some know, some don’t but my dad does own this gym! I would have to say he does an incredible job, there has definitely been major upgrades. I read through and seen a few OLD commits about day care staff, but actions have been made and we have a great staff, not only in the Daycare but the whole crew. I’ve took time to read through comments so therefor a few details are yes, all kids must be 6 months to be in the daycare. As well as at the end of your contract, please give a 30 day notice that way we can send that off and properly end the contract rather than it rolling over to month to month. I hope this information helps new registers, as well as existing members. We have a lot in store for the future so please stay tuned!!! We also have Launches for our members and great deals on sign ups!!Thank you all for the kind and motivational comments. Powerhouse gym is the gym of gyms to me they got a smoothie bar which to me is a plus as well as shirts to sell protien drinks pre workout drinks as well as headphones in case you forget them and supplements if you can't find what your looking for staff is great very knowledgeable and machines and restrooms are maintained on a regular basis I am staying at a hotel that has a contract with them. This place is better in many ways to the gym I go to back home in clear lake but cost and contract is something to look at compared to other places but overall would recommend to anyone that's a beginner intermediate or advanced builder More...

Loved it haven't been in a gym since high school everything was clean nice the locker rooms were awesome has showers and a sauna and the staff were friendly and help especially the guy up from Lendel I believe his name is will be returning.

I'll start by adding this gym has the nicest equipment in the area. Very new. I travel for work all over the country and have been a regular at countless gyms in many states. That being said, while the gym is very nice, I think some of the equipment could have been better chosem. There are SIX bench press stations, yet only two free weight racks to do squats and deadlifts. Power racks can be used for bench press as well, why not cut back on a couple of bench presses and add a few power racks? It could easily be arranged. Also, for their hammer strength (the real ones, not the machine ones with the weight stack, which I'm not fond of) all three of their hammer strength for chest are for incline bench. They couldn't do at least one of them for flat or decline? Same with the hammer strength pull downs, both close grip, couldn't do a wide grip one one? After spending the last 7 months at the gym I upped it from a 3 to a 4 star. They have done well to maintain equipment and the staff is friendly. The location is on a mall but it has a separate entrance. While it seems weird at first, you never really notice it as most the windows are blocked from the mall. More...

This is by far the best gym in the whole Brazoria county (my opinion). I love their equipment and the whole atmosphere is great and motivates you to get pumped.   I like their shake bar and the whole buy 10 , get 1 free card .      But overall I like that they have a women's loft , saunas in each bathrooms and also the zumba is great on Monday and Tuesday night , that's the only reason I joined because no other zumba class in town was as great and awesome as this one and also because I need to go and stop being lazy lol ! I love this gym.  Great machines, great free weights,  and even though I've never stepped foot in the cardio area it seems like there is always a stairclimber available.  The locker rooms are spacious with private stalls and lots of lockers.   The equipment has spray bottles and towels to insure it is clean.
