First consult today was sooo helpful! I learned so much about how to use balanced meals to continue my weight loss! Monika is so well educated and has such great advice. Even my hubby learned some new things about eating healthy. I look forward to continuing my weight loss through a balanced diet. Monika always answers any questions I have about foods I want to try and gives suggestions about how to improve it. Highly recommend for any weight loss even post partum or with dietary restrictions. My daughter and I have worked with Monica and thepower nutrition program for a few months. It has been a wonderful experience. Monika has completely changed my life, for the better! I used to think of diet as depravation, but Monika taught me how to give my body the right "fuel" to keep me strong, healthy and obtain my goals. I first met Monika about 5 years ago when she was my exercise trainer. Among other things, Monika taught me the importance of proper form and quality of my exercise over just getting reps & time in. Now, I am client on the nutrition side as well! Monika is AWESOME--she is thoughtful, motivating, completely non-judgmental and most importantly REALISTIC about eating habits and dieting goals. I have learned so much about eating clean, nutritious food and I feel great. I eat a ton of food, but I am actually losing weight. Becoming a client of Monika Nowak’s was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I came to her because I needed to take control of my weight and pay attention to me. I’m at a ‘time in my life’ where my body has it’s own mind at times. I had been through all kinds of diets and lost 30 lbs a few times but gained it back and then some. Monika started by making sure she understood me and my body and everything that goes with it – mentally, physically, emotionally and medically. Monika demonstrated compassion, sensitivity, and incredible knowledge when discussing my food choices, past eating experiences and even didn’t make a big deal of it when I stray from the ‘norm’. Monika has helped me be a better athlete. Finally, I feel like I have a great relationship with food because I see it as fuel for my workouts. I thought I was a healthy eater but with Monika's help, I observed that I was not eating nearly enough protein nor calories for my physical output. I am eating more and feeling my skinny jeans fit better. After 3 weeks of balanced eating, I feel great. My energy level is steady and I no longer crash around 3pm.
