We've been with the Potomac Pediatrics practice for 13+ years. My daughter has been seen by the various doctors and each has been exceptional. They all are very welcoming and interested in making your child feel better and allaying parents worries when their child is ill. We’ve been going to Potomac Pediatrics for more than 3 years. Our son has been seen by almost all providers. All doctors are well experienced and have a great bedside manner. The nurses are very patient and friendly. We’ve called them at different times of the day for medical advice, even on weekends and in the middle of the night. And we’ve always received a call back promptly by an experienced doctor or nurse providing helpful advice. Their hours of operation are great, especially for working parents as they’ve managed to always fit us in early morning or late in the evening. Another good thing is that one can contact providers through their online portal to ask questions or seek medical advice. Both our son and daughter are now patients at Potomac Pediatrics and we’ve recommended this practice to all friends in the area. More...

We’ve been with Potomac Pediatrics since my daughter was born. She has a complicated medical situation and the staff here takes great care of us. They are always available with advice in one way or another and very proactive. We’ve been seeing Dr. Glassman for over 11 years - and she is an amazing pediatrician. Thoughtful and incredibly knowledgeable, she strives to figure out what’s going on when one of our children is sick. Potomac Pediatrics is a top notch practice providing patients with quality care, in an efficient manner, lead by staff that is always willing to go above and beyond. My daughter see's Dr. Weiss and my son is a patient of Dr. Mechak's. We have also seen Dr. Fishelberg, Dr. Davies, Dr. Patel and Dr. Potter, and have been impressed with every interaction. I have the utmost confidence in the doctors and staff at Potomac Pediatrics and am grateful to have them apart of our village of raising these amazing little people. One final thought that has left a lasting impression on my husband and me, everyone onsite is extremely personable, kind but also highly knowledgeable in their field of practice.  We have never felt as if quality of care was compromised and always leave our appointments feeling well informed with smiles on our faces (even after shots). I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I would highly recommend them. From the moment we were greeted in the hospital shortly after the birth of my first child, I have had nothing but the best care shown to my children from this practice. All of the doctors are warm, knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding (particularly with new parents). We have never had an issue getting a same-day sick appointment if that was necessary and the nursing staff is wonderful at answering questions and helping triage over the phone. They also offer flexible well visit appointment times to accommodate working parents. And the lactation consultant Maureen is an amazing resource for new moms! More...

Potomac Pediatrics has made my life as a full-time working mother easy as it relates to the health well-being of my two boys. They pick up the phone at 7 AM to schedule day-of sick visits, the triage nurses line has evolved since we joined the practice 6 years ago and I can talk to someone live about questions and concerns, the antibiotic vending machine saves me time and extra trips, the schedules open months in advance for well visits, there are evening and Saturday hours (we have used both), and for the handful of times we have needed the overnight answering service, we get a call back in a timely manner. The nurses are lovely, friendly, and efficient with a needle, and I haven't met a doctor I didn't like or felt uneasy with a diagnosis or a recommendation. We don't see a particular doctor, and whomever we have seen "gets" what's going on and has an understanding of their history. Thankfully, we have a LONG time before my kids age out of the practice! I have been so thrilled with my 7 years as a patient at Potomac Pediatrics. I feel that my kids health is in the best hands with the doctors at Potomac Pediatrics. We see consistent doctors for well visits and each of them know my kids. I also love that if my kids wake up sick, I can call as soon as the phones open and get them in to see a doctor within a few hours at the longest. Each and every member of the staff is extremely accommodating and wonderful with both of my children (and I). My kids look forward to going to Potomac Peds and each love their doctors. I cannot say enough good things about them and I only wish there was an a practice that sees adults that is as well run and offers such incredible medical care as we receive as Potomac Pediatrics. Potomac Pediatrics has gone above and beyond for my children on many occasions! Dr. Glassman, in particular, is a phenomenal pediatrician and relates so well with the kids of every age. My children have been going for nearly a decade and we love every bit of how they do business. Their patient portal is the most easy to access I have ever used. Their email reminders and updates are very helpful and provide great information. They have seminars on different, relevant, topics throughout the year and offer many different services for kids. I love their pro-active approach to medicine. They recently hired specialists in the office so patients aren't having to travel far for specialized care. My son recently saw their concussion specialist and had a great experience. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Glassman! More...

I have worked in healthcare for the past 16 years and have never seen a practice operate as smooth as Potomac Pediatrics in Rockville, MD. Kuddos to that healthcare administrator, their staff is fantastic, we love all the docs who have seen my daughter. Sadly we moved out of the area and I needed medical records sent to my new practice. I just got off the phone with their medical records department who sent me my daughters shot records while I was on the phone with them! I am amazed at how amazing that practice operates. Maureen the lactation specialist is phenomenal.  She is incredibly kind, helpful, and encouraging.  She also hosts a mother's group that is supportive and fun.  The group provides an avenue to meet other parents of new newborns and to learn.  Both Maureen and the group are wonderful resources.  Thank you! We've taken both of our sons to Potomac Pediatrics, and I cannot say enough good things.  They are an incredibly busy practice yet somehow make you feel like you are their only patient.  Each of the doctors we have seen genuinely care about our kids and the follow-up we have received has been refreshing.Sometimes it is the little things that make a difference, especially with young kids.  They lobby is designed in a way that allows kids to walk around and check out the fish tank.  There is a "gum dispenser" with bouncy balls that the kids get after their appointment.  The wait time to get taken back has never exceeded 5 minutes.  All of these are reasons that we continue to recommend this practice to our friends (and even random people we meet that are expecting). Simply the best!  We've been going to Potomac Pediatrics from newborn through adulthood. Each of their physicians is compassionate,  highly qualified, and fantastic communicators. Over the years they have detected conditions that specialists remarked are almost never properly diagnosed. The organization of the office,  efficiency,  and responsiveness are remarkable in a world where so many other places just do the bare minimum. I am so happy with the level of care my baby receives at Potomac Pediatrics. The doctors and nurses are helpful, kind and never judgmental. They also have a nurse line that you can call for medical advice 24/7, which is very useful as a first time parent. It's natural for new moms to worry, but the nurses always calm my fears. This is an amazing practice. Both of my kids have been seen at Potomac Pediatrics since they were born (they are 10 and 12 now). I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Glassman who has gone above and beyond when treating my daughter who has special needs. My kids have been seen by most of the doctors and I can say that Dr. Kaplan, Dr. Fishelberg, Dr. Potter, Dr. Sheibel, Dr. Suri, Dr. Davies and Dr. Weiss all have a great bedside manner. All the doctors that have seen my kids have always taken the time to answer my questions and I have never felt rushed. The advice nurses are also knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My daughter has been seen in Potomac Pediatrics since she was born and she is 14 months old now. I’m so glad that I chose them. All the team including the doctors, nurses and admission personnel are nice and profassional. Any time we needed a special/ urgent care for our little one, they were ready for us and did anything they could do in a nicely and timely manner. My children have seen Dr. Glassman and her associates since 2006. I have nothing but good things to say. If you leave a message on the weekend, someone will reach out. If you deliberating about whether symptoms warrant an office visit, a nurse or PA will call back to discuss and advise. The practice allocates ample time for emergency visits each day. the office is very hi-tech; there is filling out pages and pages of data before each visit. My experience with this practice has been top-notch. I have never had any problems getting a same-day appointment for a sick child and their phone lines open at 7:00 AM - that is so convenient when I need to plan my day. Their hours are great for working parents and their nurses and doctors are knowledgeable, professional, personable and overall awesome. They hold flu clinics so you can bring your child in for a flu vaccine when its convenient for you - no appointment necessary. I've been bringing my children to this practice since we moved back to the area nine years ago and all three of my kids go there. If you're looking for good quality care for your child, then don't try this practice. But if you want the absolute best nurses and doctors who really care about your child's health and overall well-being, then this is the practice for you! More...

My kids are now 16 and 19 and we have been with Potomac Pediatrics for 16 years. My husband is an emergency physician so we have a very high standard to be met for medical care for our kids and the physicians and staff at Potomac Pediatrics have consistently met and exceeded that standard. My son has been a Patient at Potomac Pediatrucs since he was born. We have been extremely satisfied with his care. The Pediatricians, Physician Assistants and Nurses are all amazing. The Nurse triage phone line has helped us numerous times answering questions and giving us advice.
