The Potomac Moving Company moved me on May 7th, 2019. Jeff and his movers made it a worry free event. They moved all items from my old apartment and from my storage unit to a new apartment. It did not take them as long as I expected. They showed up on time and made quick work of my move. They even professionally wrapped my furniture. A crew of 3 men transported a heavy wood-framed sofa from a residence to a donation facility. Jeff K. was responsive to each inquiry, made pick-up arrangements, follow-up up when the delivery was made, and sent donation and invoice receipts. Jeff and his crew at Potomac Moving Company did a stellar job moving our furniture from a 2nd floor condo into a storage unit.  They arrived on time at 9:00 AM, worked nonstop for an hour and a half, and successfully fit our furniture into a 10x10 ft storage room.  We were very pleased with their service and will be using Potomac Moving Company again to move our furniture out of storage and into our new home.  You will not regret working with Potomac Moving Company!  They deserve 5 out of 5 stars! Potomac moving company provided excellent service for my move out of Baltimore. Jeff and his coworker showed up in a nice moving truck and had my furniture packed up in padded sheets, taped, and rolled outside within the hour. Absolutely fantastic moving company! Everything was handled with extreme care and professionalism: from booking to getting estimates to the move itself! Hired Jeff and his crew for a fairly small move on May 12th and I cannot say enough good things about these guys. Jeff was great about staying in touch before the move date (I had booked them almost 2 months in advance) and showed up right on time the day of. All said and done, their 3 man team had our 2 bedroom unit loaded and unloaded at our new place in exactly 3 hours. They were extremely careful with all of our furniture, wrapped up a few dressers and bookcases that I requested, and were extremely aware of their surroundings when moving into the new place as not to scrape or mark anything. Jeff and Potomac Moving Company provided fantastic service! I moved from Texas to DC, and have to say it was not even close to smooth until last Thursday and Potomac Moving showed up. I was super worried because up to that point, if it could go wrong, it went wrong. Potomac Moving was a breath of fresh air amid the chaos. When we scheduled our move for March 21st, little did we know that it would be the day of this year's biggest snowstorm! But the storm did not stop Jeff of Potomac Moving from showing up at 9 am sharp in the morning ready for a big move. Jeff was fast, efficient and careful with items. I hired Potomac Moving Company a week ago to move my 1 bed room  unit to another Apartment with in the same community.This is the first time i ever hired a movers service and I am glad that I choose Potomac Services for this Job. They are very reasonably priced,Jeff and his crew did an excellent job.  They were efficient, friendly, and easy to work with.I received excellent customer service from Potomac Moving Company.  Everything was done promptly and professionally. Potomac Moving Company was just completely awesome to deal with.    My wife and I had an opportunity to move over an hour away in a 30 day period and Jeff made sure we were completely squared away with the move.    My wife is almost 8 months pregnant so he was very sympathetic to that and made sure she wasn't stressed at all during the move.   His team didn't stop all day!   The three guys that were with him were careful with all of our possessions.   It was also -5 degrees when we moved and there wasn't one complaint all day regarding the weather.    I would highly recommend hiring them today!!! Jeff and his crew did an excellent job. They were efficient, friendly, and easy to work with. I messed up the request for an estimate, so they weren't aware that they were moving anything but furniture, but it was no problem for them to add our 40+ boxes. I recommend them highly!

Jeff and his crew were Rock Stars and I can't recommend them highly enough because of their professionalism, courtesy, and work ethic. They were beyond prompt -- early even -- with multiple phone calls to ensure it was OK to begin earlier than we previously discussed. They were polite and respectful of my home and belongings, laying down carpet & hardwood protection before beginning. Our move was made easier with Potomac Moving Company. First, they arrived on the earlier end of their arrival window, which, in my experience, never happens with companies. But they were on time within 20 minutes of the start of the window. Second, we had a few more boxes than we thought, at first. Jeff and his team weren't bothered at all. Everything was "no problem". They were all business and handles all of my belongings with care. Last, the move was a lot quicker than I planned for. This was our first experience hiring movers. We have a 10 month old, so I knew we'd be distracted and stressed, and wasn't sure how much oversight movers would need. But Jeff and Douglas were amazing- they were on time, packed our moving pods like absolute Tetris masters, and even helped disassemble some furniture that we didn't have the right wrench for. Recently completed a move with Potomac Moving Company, they were recommended by my friend who used them multiple times and now I know why. Jeff gave me recommendations and told me things I had no idea about. The quote I was provided was spot on even though they did tell me if it goes longer they'll charge me accordingly but thankfully it was on time. The movers themselves were very kind and gentle with my items. They explained why they were doing particular things which I found very pleasing so of course, I wanted to give them an excellent tip! Well, I rarely post reviews but decided to do it for Potomac Moving Co because they are GREAT! It's not the right word "great", I'd say outstanding. First of all, i move every year and feel like I know each moving company in a area. I ALWAY had issues. Each and every time. I was getting very annoyed. My co-worker recommended Potomac Moving and I decided to take a shot. Well, that was a good decision.  I'm a very picky customer and I have curtain requests when I move. I hired Potomac Moving Company 2 weeks ago to move my 4 BR house and a small storage unit. With being extra busy at work, I didn't have time to do the packing myself. While being hesitant about having someone handle and pack all of my stuff (it's one thing when someone just carries boxes with your stuff and another when they pack your clothes and personal items for you), I had no choice other than have them do full packing for me to save me time. I just finished unpacking and am amazed at how great a job Potomac Moving guys did with packing! They really do know how to properly fit everything inside just the right size box, so nothing gets broken and unpacking was a breeze!The move itself was very smooth. The movers showed up on time, a manager called me about half hour before their arrival, they were very efficient, professional and cautious in handling my stuff. They worked fast, no fooling around. They had everything packed and transported to my new home ahead of schedule! The bill was clear with no extra fees, not even for making a stop to clear out my storage unit. I had an outstanding experience with Potomac Moving crew! Not only were they responsive, friendly and professional, they were also on time and extremely careful with my stuff. The care with which they packed up and moved my entire house was remarkable. Nothing got damaged during the move. All doors and my beautiful hardwood floors were also padded and covered for protection in the high traffic area. Jeff, Sergey and Mike worked excellent as a team, well orchestrated and efficient. All large furniture that didn't fit through the doors was disassembled and put back together at my new home. Really wonderful experience! I was dreading the day of the move and feeling so stressed out ahead of time, that I wish I knew these guys would really be so great to spare myself the worries.
