The pizza is very good. I ate Marcantonio with prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella. The dough and the cooking is perfect. Even the ingredients used are fresh and top quality! I work in Harrison and just went to Porta Napoli for the first time. The weather was beautiful their front window was open and a warm breeze was flowing into the restaurant. Great ambiance. The staff was friendly and courteous. I ordered a panini for take out, saw a specialty coffee machine and ordered a cappuccino to go. Before paying I saw another customer order a piece of chocolate mousse cake..so I ordered a piece to go. My brother took me to Porta Napoli for my Birthday. Everything was delicious. We had meatball appetizer, rice balls and mozzarella and tomatoes. The presentations were beautiful. The tomato sauce was excellent. We were a party of six. We each ordered a personal pizza. We all loved ours. Then we had a Nutella pizza for dessert. The staff put candles on it and sang Happy Birthday. At the end of the night it seemed that we were the only ones there. I asked if they had stayed open just for us and it turned out that they did. The management had thought they might close for Christmas eve but since we had a reservations and it was a birthday party they opened.
