Working with Pool Logic was the best experience I ever had. Nick and Art never let me down, they were always there for me, always answering the phone, getting back to me as soon as possible. I mean, what can I say, his entire team was so professional. From the  first day I met Nick and his wife, I knew he was going make me happy, and he exceeded my expectations. I told Nick I needed the pool by July because I was getting married in August in my backyard, not only he did an amazing job, he actually finished my pool one month earlier. Thank you so much for for making my life easier, especially when I was planning a wedding.  And what a surprise, when the pool was completed, Nick's wife and sister brought us a basket of goodies for the pool.  How thoughtful is that!! Honestly working with Pool Logic was the best construction experience I've ever had. Nick and Art never let me down, they were always there for me. Even during non-business hours they answered the phone and got back to me as soon as possible. I mean what can I say, everyone was so professional. From the first day I met Nick, I knew he was going to make me happy and he did, plus his 3D design was amazing. I have contacted Pool Logic after I was impressed with their QUALITY and type of work and most importantly the way they conduct their business.  After referral from my friends and few other Quotes with pool companies I have decided to go with Pool Logic.Right from day 1,  Asia was very responsive and reached out to me with any Q in couple of hrs 90% of the time for the whole project. we have a small yard and installing a pool was a challenge but Asia and her team worked with us to get what we want and adjusted the drawings multiple times with out any hesitation and spent lot of hours consulting on the design without charging us.  They did NOT push us for anything and gave us ample time to think about it after the design was complete. After we decided to go with them the process was quick and got our pool and yard done with in 2 months. There were no surprises and every thing was brought to our attention and was always given options to decide rather than pushing for it. They came back several times after our pool was done to finish up on things that were held up because of unforeseen situations. one bad experience that I had was the landscaper Jason ( Sunscape Landscaping) that they recommended, who turned out be a jerk and very incompetent. I expressed my dissatisfaction with Asia couple of times and she fired him right after without any hesitation. She got in another person and helped me fix the things that he messed up on. I like the way they handled the situation and helped me get out the mess he left. It was a bad experience for both of us and was told they kicked him out and will never refer him to any other person. I have waited almost 8 months to write this review because I wanted to see how their follow up was after the job was completed and they have always exceeded my expectations and always returned my call with any Q and follow ups. After interviewing several pool contractors, the minute we met Jeff we knew we wanted to go with Pool Logic. Before we met him, he had already come highly recommended from friends and his reviews were outstanding. ... but after we actually met him we were confident he was who we trusted to build the pool of our dreams.Pool logic did just that! Our backyard is more than we ever could of imagined. Our guests are blown away with the transformation of our backyard, I still can't believe this is our backyard! We interviewed multiple pool builders..  The first person we talked with was Troy from Pool Logic.  He was awesome but we had little clue what we actually wanted in a pool at that time as they were the first person we talked with.  We then had multiple other pool builders out and were able to get some more designs and ideas of things we may want.  At that point we were kind of lost as where to go.  We were not really able to get a design from anyone else that we were happy with and my wife said that Pool Logic was building a pool for one of her friends also and we should at least talk to Jeff before going with someone else.  Jeff came over and was able to give us some new perspective and ideas for our potential pool that made us super excited!  He designed a pool that was completely AWESOME!!  We are so happy we went with Pool Logic! We received multiple bids for our pool project and made the absolute right decision by going with POOL LOGIC. From the start, Lucas was very patient with our requests to change design multiple times which included the 4D rendition of what it would look like in our yard. Pool Logic is an amazing company.  Malkiel has incredible customer service skills.  We met with multiple companies and no one came close in price, professionalism or customer service.  We had a pool installed in a fairly small backyard with a steep slope down one side.  On top of these obstacles we live in Yorba Linda.  One of the most stringent permit city there is.  With the incredible engineering skills of Mario and Malkiel's  overall knowledge of pool building Pool Logic overcame all these obstacles with ease.  The Yorba Linda permit inspector said Pool Logic and their crew including Jessica, are the best he has seen.  Our pool is truly amazing, we love it and owe it all to Malkiel and Pool Logic for making it come true.  Thank you so much. Pool Logic saved our home and our marriage! We had hired another contractor who totally ruined our backyard and damaged the foundation of our house. Once we had the foundation repaired, we thought we had no choice but to back-fill the giant hole in our yard. Then, a friend recommended we talk to Jeff at Pool Logic. He came out, gave us a very fair estimate and designed an incredible pool and spa and landscaping plan. Look for yourself. Pool logic turned our yard into a work of art! One company handed me a 2d hand drawing of what they pool would look like, and another company just wanted to show me all of his local work. When we first started talking about building a pool, all we heard were horror stories about the different companies. We decided to go with Pool Logic and I have to say that our experience so far is beyond amazing.  Jeff (the owner) has exceeded our expectations from the very beginning.  His design was an exact match to what we described to him that we wanted, and then he added his touches to put it over the top. My grandson decided we should get a pool and we agreed. I interviewed and received quotes from 5 pool contractors but not really feeling too comfortable.  One of my friends decided to do her pool too and referred me to Pool Logic.. Lucas came to our home discussing details and processes, a couple of days later he provided his quote and a beautiful design. He was my first contact and he made an excellent first impression which during the process he never let me down..I was introduced to my project manager,  Ed who was amazing, he supervised all the phases of the pool (which there were many). He was there with a timeline for every contractor etc..Ed coordinated every aspect, he was always reachable and always on site overseeing the progress.Did I mention the contractors each had certainly specialities in which they were all amazing and very conscious of the work.The office staff, design, billing, the owner were all professional and friendly.  No one at Pool Logic ever dropped the ball.. We got 4 different estimates and everyone was about the same cost.  What set apart Pool Logic for us was their designs.  The 3D design was pretty spot on with the finished product.  Building a pool can cause some anxiety, but they were patient waiting for our choices and gave us great recommendations when we needed them.  In the end, I had no regrets and was glad we went with them.  Definitely recommend these guys. The journey of designing/building a pool is not for the impatient. This review is solely for our pool designer Levi whom was our original point of contact for Pool Logic. Levi was 1 of 5 people/companies that we had come out for a consultation. In our meeting we had a very fluid conversation regarding our wants and needs. He paid attention to our wishes and offered us alternative to what might have been dated in our designs and view. As we ended our consultation he promised to provide us with a 3d rendering at no cost. The rendering came as per our vision which we used to compare with the other companies. We went with Pool Logic/Levi because of the passion and excitement that he displayed during the design. We asked if he can be our project manager but he said his position in the company was in sales and design only, however he assured us that whomever will manage our pool would exude the same professionalism and passion for pool building. Our city took it time to approve the permit but once it did happen we finally got to speak with our project manager. We interviewed him and didn't have that warm fuzzy feeling that we did with Levi but shrugged it off. I'll shorten our experience with our project manager with some pros and cons. Cons = does not respond to text messages same day, doesn't call back in a timely manner (within 2hrs), doesn't show up on digs/construction days (unless demanded by us), doesn't listen to our concerns (drainage, equipment, electrical, permits). Pro = best available project manager provided by Pool Logic at the time and gave us the ability to learn about project managing ourselves. We finally got fed up and contact Pool Logic about the lack of service we we're receiving. Pool Logic let us know that we will no longer have to deal with our project manager because he was resigning and we will be getting Levi our original pool designer to finish off our project (hallelujah). In every project there will be hiccups but none should be from the result of an inadequate project manager. Levi as the professional he is had to be the janitor and cleaned up the mess that was left for him. He stepped up and made sure all subcontractors and city personnel was on the same page (hence project managing) and worked with us to get our pool done. I personally think that if Levi didn't end up managing our project we would still be in our 7th month of construction.Levi thanks for designing/managing and executing this dream of ours and best wishes at running the San Diego satellite office of Pool Logic. As most people do after making the significant financial decision to build a pool, I diligently scoured the internet in search of the best pool builders (actually spent hours researching contractor ratings, reviews, websites, etc. ).  We narrowed our search down to a few highly rated companies and received bids. Pool Logic was right there in the same price range as the others. The deciding factor for us was Asia.  She and her husband Joel were the ones who showed up to give us the initial bid. They listened intently to what we were wanting, respected our budget and provided their professional input. At the end of the day, it really just came down to our gut feeling that they were honest, quality people who genuinely cared about making our vision come to fruition. Best decision we could have made! Fast forward a couple months later, we now have an amazing pool and yard. As in all major construction projects, minor issues inevitably arise so it's imperative for people to be involved in the process. The fact that Asia was always available to help solve those issues without hesitation is what was so impressive and is what we believe really sets Pool Logic apart.  There's no doubt in my mind that this type of attention to detail and customer service in the pool building industry is uncommon. Early on, we were even invited over to Asia's parents' and brother's homes to view their pools and get some design ideas. They were all equally kind and gracious, which is a testament as to why their family owned and operated business is so successful and amazing. Lastly, all of their in-house employees and subs were great to work with. They are obviously all on the same page when it comes to courtesy, professionalism and quality of work. Speaking of their work...I would say the reviews on Yelp and photos on their website clearly speak for themselves. Let me start out by saying I have never for any reason good or bad written a yelp review. However my family and I had such an awesome experience with Jeff and his company Pool Logic that I felt compelled to share my experience with others so they can have the same experience. Pool Logic is a company built on faith, honesty, and integrity. Everyone on their team does what they say they are going to do and they follow through on their word!From the very first meeting my wife and I had with Jeff Sr., I knew he had our families best interest at heart. He met at our house on a weekday evening and we kept him there talking plans and details until 9:00-9:30. He took our ideas and created 25 different 3D images of what our backyard could look like....all for free!!  Before we contacted Pool Logic I had received 2-3 different bids on our project and none of them included free 3-dimensional computer images, most companies charge a minimum of $1,000 for the same services.  Not to mention, their bid was fair and reasonable compared to other quotes I had received. Without hesitation my wife and I signed a detailed contract.Once the contract was signed we dealt exclusively with Jeff Jr. who was extremely patient throughout the entire project.  I am by nature a very organized, type A, perfectionist, so I know my constant questioning and attention to detail on the work being performed had to wear him out.Jeff always made it a priority to respond in a timely manner and address the question or issue at hand. The work on the project was very organized and timely with one crew coming in right after the other crew would finish. Jeff always kept me updated on which step in the process was next and what I needed to do in order to be prepared and keep the work moving smoothly without delay. Jeff and all his staff are incredibly knowledgeable. We talked at length about different styles, designs, tile colors, mini pebble finishes, rock features, stone options, etc... I leaned heavily on Jeff's advice and experience in the field and every one of his recommendations were spot on and made our finished product turn out better than I could have imagined. My family and I are so thrilled with how everything came out we have referred Jeff and his company to anyone and everyone we talk to. All of Jeff's subcontractors were respectful and courteous throughout the entire project. They treated our property and the work they were performing like true professionals. My favorite part of the project is how well the rock water features turned out. I remember our first conversation with Jeff Sr. When I explained to him we wanted a rock waterfall in the back corner and his response was why not 3? 3 is better than 1, and he was right 3 is far better than 1. I had spent several years researching natural vs. artificial rock work because I wanted our finished product to look as natural as possible. I was hesitant to go with artificial rocks because I was worried they would look fake. Jeff sent out Lou and Lupe to do the rock work. They spent weeks shaping and forming our rock feature. I don't think the pictures included will do justice to the fantastic work they performed. But the finished product is exactly what we were hoping for. If you are looking for the best pool company in the business, YOU FOUND IT!  In our opinion, POOL LOGIC is the best pool company around and you won't be disappointed with their excellent service, professionalism, and personable relationship with their customers. Our search for a pool company began in February 2018.  I am an expert at researching and want to find the absolute best product for the cheapest price (usually).  We decided to get estimates and designs from 4 different companies.  POOL LOGIC was my first call and spoke with Jeff Sr.  Jeff Sr. answered some of my basic questions and scheduled an appointment at our house.  Jeff Sr. was on time and extremely knowledgeable about the entire process.  I felt like he understood what we were looking for and respected our price range.  Within 48 hours, we received our dream vision in a 3-D design.  I was so impressed with the quality of service we were receiving but stuck to our guns about receiving 3 additional quotes and let's just say our experiences with the other companies were painful.  Between not getting calls back, no written price breakdowns, and having to call multiple times to find out why we hadn't received a design or price estimate, our minds were clearly made up.  POOL LOGIC was upfront about all the costs, upgrades, and options.  There were NO hidden fees that popped up after we signed our contract.  Once our permits were issued, they began to dig the very next day!  That's when we were assigned our project manager, Ed.  Ed was AMAZING! He was so attentive and catered to our every need.  He answered our questions no matter what time of day it was.  Ed was always available and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process with scheduling, payments, and deadlines.  We are very impatient people unfortunately.  When we have a question, we expect to get an answer within a reasonable amount of time.  Not one time did we ever have a problem with that.  Between Ed and Jeff Sr., they were so on top of it and we never ran into any issues with communication which is priceless in our opinion.  We work full time jobs and were not home all the time during the process, but Ed made sure that everything was done properly the first time and kept the project moving forward. Throughout the process, we had several questions regarding a rock feature with a slide that we chose, the difference between brushed concrete and acid washed concrete; tile selections, etc.  Jeff Sr. and Ed both took the time to cater to our questions and gave us their time by driving us to previous projects to see their completed work.  The time and communication they provided was priceless and made each step as easy as possible. We have been in our pool for over two weeks and we continue to have questions regarding equipment, chemicals, random other questions.  Although our contract has been fulfilled, both Jeff Sr. and Ed continue to pick up the phone, text back in a timely fashion and even respond to our house at a moment's notice as we continue to familiarize ourselves with our new equipment.  In the end, we are exceptionally satisfied with the final product, the continuing communication and POOL LOGIC's commitment to excellence. I would like to say that Pool logic has done a amazing job on our pool ! All the contractors were on time,polite and cleaned up at the end of the day . . Levi the design consultant is amazing he  came out to our house listened to what our budget was and the design we wanted and that night he e mailed a bid & a beautiful in color design that looked amazing ..he worked with us on getting it just the way we wanted it ( even with our design changes)  always prompt and very friendly.Our project  manager was Ed and he is wonderful .. he is very friendly and professional always there for you if not on site always by text or call  anything you need to know he has the answer ( or will look into it) Delaney & Alyssa at the office  are also awesome about answering any questions, scheduling  and providing receipts of payments and lein releases..When my husband and I went into the office to choose our tiles etc..( they have books they give you to look at  but we needed  it to be visual lol) Ed was there to help and Jeff the owner of the company as well they both listened and saw what we were looking at  and they were very helpful with pulling it all together to show us how it would look from the stagstone to the sample of mini Pebble...This company truly was amazing we are so happy with the service and finished product More...

We are SO HAPPY with Pool Logic! ...Jeff came out last year to give us a quote. He first listened to our thoughts on what we envisioned for our backyard. We have a large yard with endless possibilies, but unfortunately not an unlimited budget. So Jeff designed the pool adding some great designer touches and itemized each piece so we could pick and choose what was right for our vision and budget. We absolutely loved his design ~ he added some touches that we had never thought about or even knew were available.  Jeff met with us at least four times to get our design right and within our budget.  Once that was settled, we did our due diligence and got three more quotes to build a similar pool. Pool Logic's price was below two of the competitors while the third was within range. However, communication with that company was hit or miss so we didn't even consider them.  Unfortunately our funding for the pool was going to take some time and we had to put Jeff on hold. But Jeff totally understood and was very nice about it (even though we know he spent a considerable amount of time working with us to this point).  Once we were ready, we called Pool Logic and got things under way. From the beginning, Jeff was on site every day until the pool was near completion to ensure the work was done per our specifications. This is our second experience building a pool so we know that each step has to be monitored carefully. In our prior home/pool, we had to point out discrepancies in their work throughout the whole process, someone only came out periodically ~ definitely not the case with Jeff. He made sure to stay on top of everything on a daily basis. So much so that we stopped checking on things because we knew we could rely on Jeff. We also made some slight changes along the way and Jeff was happy to incorporate those changes at a very reasonable price. Jeff even made suggestions for landscaping ideas ~ such as adding electrical wiring while trenches were all over my backyard which I didn't even think about ~ definitely saved me time and effort (his crew even added a few feet to the trench so I could reach the lamppost on the other side of the yard).  We would absolutely recommend Jeff and Pool Logic. We loved Jeff's big picture approach ~ he didn't think about just the pool, but our entire backyard in his designs and ideas. Even down to where the pool lights should be facing, away from the seating area for maximum effect.  We also had a bbq island installed (pre fab from another company) while the pool was finishing up and Jeff suggested ideas to help incorporate the island with our existing structure and then offered to do it at a very reasonable price ~ it was such a small job, we wouldn't have been able to get someone out to do it so we appreciated his offer (and definitely took it).If we had to do it all again, Pool Logic would be the only company we would consider!! We bought our house eight months ago and the entire outside was wood chips. We desperately missed our pool and so I started calling pool builders shortly after moving in. Most of the pool companies didn't return my calls and emails or they said they could come out in two months to give me a quote. I did end up getting a quote for around $80,000.  So I sat on it and waited until I could get a few more quotes. Then a friend posted online they were building a pool so I got Pool Logic's number. Levi called me right away and we had a meeting within days where he came out, took pictures, got a feeling for what I wanted, and within like two days he emailed me the quote and the 3D design pics. We LOVED his design.  The other pool companies didn't really listen to what I was saying, but Levi totally understood what my vision was for the unusual backyard shape that I have. He listened, he envisioned it, and nailed the design. The longest part of the process was waiting for permits from the city. That took about two months. Once we got that accomplished, they had the pool hole dug out in a day, rebar in a day, plumbing in about two days, etc. Once the permits were pulled, they were efficient.  I appreciated that Ed and Jeff were able to answer any of our questions right away.  I would text or call them and they would respond quickly. Now that our pool is done, we are in heaven. Sitting in the Baja step with the waterfalls running is so relaxing. Our pool is absolutely beautiful and all of our family and friends are asking to come over and swim all the time now.  We are very happy! I cannot say how appreciative I am of pool logic. Having just moved and never had a pool before, I was unaware of how the pool equipment worked. I met with Malkiel and he took the time to go through the workings of the equipment. He did not try to up-sell replacing anything that didn't need to be.We went though some ideas and scope of work. He was able to run through the numbers and quote me on the spot. They were very communicative, efficient and quick to schedule everything. I was amazed at how fast they completed the project. Having spent hours on end researching and reading blogs on pool building and nightmare contractors, we knew this was not going to be a relatively easy or fun task. We had met with at least 12 different contractors. Many who never followed up with us, a couple who were not a good fit, and one who talked over me throughout the entire consult.  From the moment we met Jeff and he showed us a design, we knew he was "the one". We were ready and prepared for hiccups and road blocks, but Jeff proved us wrong. He is young and creative and takes pride in his work and designs. He does not create your typical cookie cutter pools, but is innovative to the industry. His crew, from the excavators to the masons have been great to work with and did everything possible "to make me happy" every step of the way. The entire process has moved so quickly that family and friends could not believe how quickly everything came together. I would not hesitate to recommend Pool Logic to anyone ready to TRANSFORM their backyard. Our pool and spa look beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the way everything looks. I can not give enough stars for Jeff and his crew. When we decided to start our project we met with numerous contractors but Jeff was able to come out and just off our initial phone call already had 3D renderings that captured what we wanted. From the beginning to the end everyone at pool logic made the process painless. The project was finished within the timeline given and any time we had questions Jeff made sure everything was taken care of. We have made multiple recommendations to friends who have thanked us for referring them to pool logic. Definitely 10+ stars from us. From the owners to the office, everyone made our dream come true. Levi is a true designer and professional. We told him what we wanted and within hours had 3D renderings that were mind blowing  He was easy to work with and completely knew his stuff. Ed is a great project manager/therapist. He listens, understands and didn't mind when I called him crying over the inspectors.  He kept this project on schedule and always made us feel at ease. Did I mention it takes a lot to make us feel at ease?Alyssa and the rest of the staff at Pool Logic were great at keeping this project organized. Alyssa was on top of the lien releases (which BTW Levi told me to get them as I had no idea what they were).Jeff runs a tight ship. He is a "Bulldog" and one that we were proud to have on our side. It's a good thing too as our Inspectors did not make this project easy. Jeff came out here and took care of business. He stood his ground and the project was underway again. Pool Logic was great. I was looking for a pool contractor for almost a year and I received several estimates, but either I didn't like the contractor or the price was ridiculous. I finally came across the reviews of Pool Logic. Levi came out and did a 3D diagram and I immediately loved the design. He listened to my ideas and incorporated them into his final product.  Levi was very quick in providing me with answers to my questions and the estimate provided was the most competitive I received from 8 contractors.  The estimate was further part of the full contract which none of the other contractors provided. The contract was clear and straight forward. After signing the contract and finally securing the proper County permits, Pool Logic started the work. The employees and subcontractors were professional, timely, and did an outstanding job of each phase.  There were no surprises along the way.  I am very pleased with the pool and have been enjoying it with the warm winter. Jeff, the owner, was extremely responsive and was always available to answer any question I had. I started researching for pool contractors late August 2017. I've contacted about 10 different contractors.  Only Poollogic agreed to provide an in-home quote in that same week. All other contractors either provided no response or agreed to meet two or three weeks later.Levi, the Design Consultant, from Poollogic responded to my Yelp request within hours and scheduled an appointment within 2 days. Levi is incredibly knowledgeable with the pool construction process and answered all my questions. Within the same day he has developed a detailed 3D design and after 3 or 4 days of back and forth emails, he has created a very detailed written contract ready for me to sign. The written quote has all detailed information such as, decking material, interior finish, pool equipment brand and model, etc. At this point I haven't met with other contractors so I told Levi he wouldn't hear from me until I get other quotes. I believe it took about a month or two before another contractor provided me some sort of quote. Even then the quotes I received are just verbal and not as detailed as Poologic's quote. After 2 months of assessment, I've decided to go with Poollogic. There is one other contractor I contemplated with because its local. But since Poollogic provided more clarity (as far as what type of pool I'm getting) and professionalism, I just felt so much more comfortable with them. Once I signed the contract, Jeff, President of Poollogic, took over the project managing part. During the construction process it became obvious how organize, dependent and competent he is. He was able to handle all the minor changes and requests I asked for, and relieved me of the many stresses associated with construction. In addition, I observed how well he works with his team and appears to treat them fairly. I really believe Jeff is an honest person and wants to provide the best product for his customers. When Jeff is not in the work site, he usually notify me who the lead person for each phase of the construction, i.e. excavation, framing, plumbing/electrical, shock-crete application, decking, and pool interior finishing, etc. My wife and I are so satisfied with our pool I've decided to ask Jeff to work on other parts of our back yard (concrete fencing and landscaping). The swimming pool and spa are up and running and I have very little doubt we made the right decision to hire Poollogic. More...

Dreams do come true!!! My wife and I received bids from other contractors that were nearly double the price of Pool Logic. None of the pool contractors provided a detailed bid with a 3-D rendering based on our ideas discussed with Jeff Sr. He truly listens to your ideas and puts them into a pool design reality. New pool construction is a huge endeavor, but Pool Logic makes it a seamless and painless process!!! The team at Pool Logic always responded to my texts, emails, or phone calls immediately. All our questions and concerns were addressed, and we felt piece of mind throughout the entire project. I can honestly say: Pool Logic's professionalism and meticulous attention to detail provided us everything we wanted and more in a backyard oasis.
