Modern eatery with a bar specializing in Fried Chicken Strips with Japanese fusion on various salads & sandwiches.To my foodie surprise, there's a Vegan/Veggie effort with a few proteins, sides & sauces. Their signature OG Sauce reminds me of less saltyTeriyaki sauce.I ordered the Veggie Patty & my ManBaby got the 'Create Your Plate' with Japanese style Chicken Tenders. We both were satisfied with our meals. The side of Sweet Potato Fries is actually a huge bowl topped with your choice of protein. With the menu offering various options like Hot Dogs, Tacos, Potato Salad, Green Beans (V) Desserts & Tofu, everyone can find something per their preference. Chicken can also be prepared grilled. Our meal came to $21 which was perfect for the pockets & with prompt/friendly service to our table, we agreed it was a good experience. A clean establishment with Restrooms located downstairs. This chicken speaks for itself!!! The infusion of flavor is incredible and I was craving more after finishing my three tenders! The sweet fries were also a delish option, as were the regular fries! Third time here. If tofu is your thing, try the spicy tofu. It's a mild spice and excellent flavor! I prefer mine with rice and pickles. The tofu tenders with fries was too decadent (fried) for me, although it is delicious! Sweet potato fries are really good. Great for meeting friends or to-go! HANDS DOWN THE BEST CHICKEN IVE EVER HAD EVER! Green beans were also probably the best I’ve ever had. Sweet potato fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. Rice was sooo good. The most heavenly chicken tenders ever. Buy a bottle of ponko sauce. You will not be disappointed. I had to drive these to South Carolina in order to stay at my friend's house they are that good.

Visited for dinner and I can't believe I never heard of Ponko Chicken before. Simply delicious, I had the chicken tacos and I didn't regret it, juicy and yummy sauce over coleslaw and fried chicken tenders. I was curious one day and decided to try this place out with my friend. I was not disappointed!!!! PONKO Chicken is located in an unusual area right next to a medical clinic and there's plenty of parking. It can get crowded but ordering up front is quick and easy. There's so many cool things I wanted to try here but I ended up getting the Ponko Chicken with fries and white rice which ended up being a good combo. Since Ponko Chicken opened its doors, I have been dying to go! However, I never found myself by their location, or honestly wanting to brave I-285 East traffic after work. .. I recently moved to Atlanta and I'm working within walking distance of this restaurant. I had it flagged and had been meaning to stop in and try the food after reading the reviews. Finally, today we had the chance. Everything was spectacular, from the food to the service to the venue. The food was absolutely delicious!! I got the 3 piece chicken tenders with a side salad with sesame dressing (omg amazing) and PONKO fries. I'm not a huge fries person but didn't know what else to get. Wow, they were delicious!! I really love this place. I feel like it's a little expensive for some fried chicken but I'm so addicted that I don't even care. Their fried tofu is out of this world good. I've never had anything like it and I'm scared to ever leave Atlanta because I'll have to leave it behind. They have the most perfectly cooked rice and their fries are out of this world. I like the original flavor and the spicy is a nice change of pace. I've never had anything else on the menu because Iove the tofu plate so much.
