They are amazing!! I went in for an arrangement for my mother in laws funeral. So tired of making decisions and choices as told them what colors I wanted how much I wanted to spend and they went above and beyond my expectations! !! If you need a florist in the area this is the only place to go. We had so many of the flowers came from their shop for her service and each one was prettier than the next. We have been customers of Pomfret Florist for about 11 yrs. They typically do a very nice job with floral arrangements, often with an unusual twist that makes them more interesting. There have been a couple of fails, where the flowers didn't last as long as they should have, but for the most part we have been pleased. I have ordered from Pomfret many times and always for my mother, who is in garden clubs and is very, very particular about the plants and flowers she keeps in her house.  Pomfret not only takes very specific requests (and follows them) but they are just as rustic and/or unique and eclectic as a Boston area florist at twice or even three times the price (eg, Winston's).  Additionally, Pomfret takes SAME DAY delivery requests and is even open to deliver at various times on that day, for the recipient's convenience.  They are always exceptionally sweet and polite on the phone, which makes spending money on their arrangements easier.  There is no place comparable in the Fall River/Taunton/Dighton/Rehoboth/Somerset/Swansea area.One tip that I always follow- at any florist I've used in the past - it doesn't hurt to ask Pomfret what new deliveries they've received in order to ensure the freshest, longest-lasting arrangement.  (I read a previous review from a bride, dare I say "bridezilla" -- I believe there had to be some miscommunication/confusion because I have never had any phone order at Pomfret interpreted as anything but exactly what I described.  I cannot imagine they would not deliver correctly on a wedding arrangement.  This had to have been a fluke, a miscommunication or an overreaction.  The arrangements were spectacular and their service and skill are unparalleled in this area.) My MIL just sent me an updated photo of the arrangement, delivered 10 days ago. Since then she has only had to remove 3 yellow roses, but the remainder of the arrangement appears to be holding up beautifully. In fact, I think I prefer this version to the original that was delivered. Their longevity definitely bumps Pomfret up a notch. :) More...
