Everything I wanted in my dog was accomplished with Megan, except one and that was to get our stubborn Shi-tzu to go potty in the grass. But Megan continues to have contact and has given some excellent suggestions to help us with this plus she is making our home visit to look at our KayLey 's environment to give us further instruction. What do you love most about your job?
Helping empower owners to have the dog that they have always wanted.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working under multiple different dog training businesses, I have found what works best. I feel like the main thing missing from other people's programs is ensuring owners know how to handle their dogs after the dog trainer leaves. This is extremely important to me.
Why should our clients choose you?
While training the dog is important, training the human is most important. Ensuring the dog's family knows exactly what to do after I leave is my main concern. I'm a dog trainer, of course I can train a dog. But teaching a family to do the same is another story many dog trainers neglect to do.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, but it depends on the issues at hand with the dog. I would be happy to provide puppy basics, basic obedience, and basic leash walking skills remotely. However, I think it would be unethical for me to give advice about more severe behavioral issues without working with the dog in person.
