We started working with Micah after a terrible experience with another dog walker. Three years later, we were absolutely heartbroken to part ways when we moved out of his area. I can't even think about how our dog must feel. Micah is an absolute pro and a genuinely kind person, I always felt that he was acting in our (human's and dog's) best interest. Not to mention, I will never be able to get photos of Todd-man like he was able to snap. We needed to find a dog walker because my husband became ill and couldn't take our Hazel on her regular walks. We met Micah through my sister and learned what he did for a living. My sister set up a meet and greet with his ambassador, Elroy. The meet and greet went fabulous. Hazel started walking with the pack the very next week. Hazel's adventures are so much fun. She goes everywhere - the beach, Half Moon Bay, Brisbane, San Francisco, and more. When it was Hazel's birthday, Micah threw a birthday party with all of her paw friends. I love how Micah is in constant communication with the parents. We get an update when she is picked up and when she is dropped off we get another. If there is anything peculiar I like irregular bowel movement, Micah let's us know. And there is always pictures. We always are at ease when Hazel is with Micah. There is no one we trust more than him with her. I truly think Micah saved our Hazel. She was becoming depressed and barked so much. Once she started her adventures, she was so relaxed and happy! When I moved away from the city I was heart broken with the thought of leaving my dog walker who we had for years, but once I met Micah I knew she was in good hands. I can't say enough how amazing Micah is with my little Monkey. I love that I always get a picture of how the day went and an update and always gives you options when he is out. We started looking for a dog walker when Teddy turned 5 months old. Â In the process, we interviewed over a dozen licensed dog walkers as well as some of their references, until we finally picked Micah. We couldn't be happier with that decision.Micah is a very reliable and responsible dog expert who excels at communicating with the doggie parents. Â He sends us daily text messages letting us know when Teddy was picked up, dropped off and a description of how he did that day (level of energy, potty breaks, etc). He also includes daily pictures of Teddy which we really enjoyed.When we were interviewing candidates, we looked for someone who truly understood how dogs think and learn (recommend reading: The Art of Raising a Puppy), and who had 100% subscribed to the "positive reinforcement method" (see Zak George on YouTube). Â While not everyone agrees with this method (e.g. Cesar Milan - who combines positive reinforcement with punishment), Â we knew Micah was fully onboard given how he answered our questions and how he treated Teddy. Â I highly recommend Micah to doggie parents who love their dogs and take the time to train them, believe in positive reinforcement, and want their dogs to be very happy (and tired) after these amazing off-leash adventures. Love love love Micah from Point Fetch Match.Micah is so great with my doggie, and I can tell that my dog loves his outings with the crew! The outings are a great way for my dog to keep his fitness and also socialize with other well behaved dogs. You start with a 2 week trial period and if the pup passes, then you're in! We love getting the text messages with awesome photos from the day and updates on how the day went. Micah is very respectful of our home and makes sure our doggie is cleaned up before he can run free in the house! Micah has the routine set, so our dog seems to know the drill! :) Micah has also been very supportive and helpful in corrective behavior training, and has immensely helped with our dog's recall skills. I have previously been wary of having my dog off-leash, but definitely trust my dog to be safe with Micah. I wish I could give them SIX stars! If you are a dog owner and live in the Peninsula area, you owe it to yourself and your pup to use Point Fetch Match! They are much more than a typical "dog walking service". We leave our Flora in Micah's care 2 times a week. During those trips, she gets to live the LIFE going on little mini adventures, usually at nearby trails and beaches. The text pics we receive of Flora and her pup friends at the end of each those days are priceless and she seems to be having an absolute blast! Since she has been in Micah's care, we have also noticed a huge improvement in her obedience and name recall skills. In addition to these things, Point Fetch Match also provides a complimentary bath each month. As I mentioned before, they are way more than a dog walking service. Point Fetch Match really puts their clients first. The dogs are well cared for, loved, socialized and get great exercise under the guise of "an adventure". Â Micha takes the time to get to know every client and cares about their well being and interaction with the others. Besides being a professional dog walker, he has successfully socializes dogs of all personalities. Â In addition, he's a great human to interact with!! (sometimes "dog" people aren't "people" people). I love that he uses the Bay Area and all it's beautiful settings as his "office". Most importantly, I trust him.
