Tiana and MJ were full of amazing energy. They settled my nerves never having anyone other than my stylist do my hair and makeup for my wedding. Somehow they managed do beautify myself and 5 other girls with time to spare to touch me up after the tear waterfall erupted. Each girl lasted beautifully thru the night. Having recently moved from Southern California, and of course hating to leave my hair stylist/colorist which I had for over 10 years, I made an amazing discovery! This is the only place that I have gone to where I actually have left satisfied. Crystal is AMAZING! She is really though and really knows what she is doing. She was fast and very knowledgeable. I have found my go to person! I went more blonde. She is a pro at blondes! I was a walk in customer. I came in about 10am and they were able to schedule me around 2:15. They even called me to let me know crystal was done with her previous appointment early and I was able to come in early if I could make it. Everyone was very nice. Definitely worth it to go here. Go. See. Crystal.  We were in Maui for my in laws 50th wedding anniversary, and my husband and I thought it would be great to take advantage of the location and do our family portraits there.  I am completely hopeless with my hair, but I knew I wanted it to be awesome, so I checked out Yelp and came across Plush.  They were able to get me an appointment, and Crystal did not disappoint.  Not only was my hair amazing (and lasted through some rain, wind, humidity and the 4 hours between my appointment and our session) but she even taught me some really helpful tips to being able to beach curl my own hair too.  So I got to sip wine, have a fun conversation, AND walk out looking (and feeling) amazing.  Win/win/win!If you are in Maui and need your hair rocked out while you're there, I can't recommend Plush and Crystal enough.  Thank you Crystal! I am visiting Maui for my anniversary and wanted to get my hair done. With two kids at home, I am crazy busy so since I am on vacation, it was the perfect time. Plush had great reviews and was able to fit me in the same day. Crystal did a fantastic job on my long bob cut and brown bayalage. What I loved is that she took this time to make sure she knew what I wanted, gave her input on what would look best on me and then even held the swatch of color up to me to confirm the color. She was able to use my current color in the bayalage to make it more multidimensional. My hair feels fantastic! She even styled it after for me. MJ saved my wedding...hair. That's a little dramatic, but I made the rookie mistake of going for a pretty drastic color change 1 day before I left for Maui (to get maui'd). As with all drastic changes, it takes some getting used to, but nope...after 1 day on the island, I realized that I hated my color. This is coming from someone who is very low maintenance. I was going to deal with it and hope my haku covered up the lightness. However, on a random trip to Foodland, I walked past Plush and they said that MJ was available to do my hair the following day. A sign?My consultation with MJ was amazing - I've never had anyone ever spend that much time explaining options and being honest enough to say that no, my Pinterest screenshot will not be a reality. Not surprising since she has over 15 years of experience, originally from Walnut Creek. Upon seeing my bewilderment, she proposed to darken one layer and see how I like it. I got my hair done for our small wedding here. Just from making the appointment I could tell this was going to be a good experience. Everybody I interacted with at Plush was friendly, professional and thorough. So much so that they even recommended driving timelines, warned about traffic, and this was weeks in advance.I was running about 15 minutes late on the day of the wedding (typical bride!) and MJ was super gracious about it and still managed to finish my hair early! She did a gorgeous job, I have a lot of hair, and the style as well as the accessories that I brought which she put in stayed put with the with the wind on the beach! It felt secure, it looked beautiful and they were so kind and sweet. Can't recommend this place enough! They obviously have talented stylists and reception staff who love what they do. Hey all, if your visiting or a long time resident of Maui, "West side"...Plush is a great location for your make over or new look! Today finally after a few day's of decision making of hair style and where to go, to get it done. I chose Plush...I've been their once before, and I'm kinda high maintenance in my old age...lol But owner Tiana put me at rest recommending Meagin to me for my A line hair style. Omg I was so pleased from the beginning to the end...Meagin did a wonderful job in recreating the photo I showed her of what I was looking. She look off about 4-10" of my drab hair and turned me back in time to my younger days! Love her she made me feel so comfortable gave me a relaxing shampoo/conditioning...then did her magic! Plush Beauty Lounge was recommended to us by our Airbnb host. We were looking for a place book a facial, hair and makeup that was less expensive than area spas but did not compromise on service. Each of the ladies in the salon made us feel comfortable the minute we walked in the door. We truly enjoyed our time with them. My husband emerged from his facial feeling relaxed and appreciated the time that Kelly took to ensure he had a positive experience. GREAT EXPERIENCE!  Plush Beauty Lounge did my hair and make-up for my New Year's Eve wedding this past year.  Not only did they make me (and all of my special ladies) feel beautiful, they also had exceptional customer service.  We hired them because of all of their wonderful wedding reviews, and they did not disappoint!  I had a great experience at my trial appointment, they made the perfect adjustments the day of the wedding, and Tiana even re-styled my hair at the end of my trial appointment so that my future husband wouldn't see my updo:)  For the big day, they traveled to our resort, and their travel fees were very reasonable.  2 hair stylists and 1 make up artist arrived on time, stayed on schedule, and made sure that we were all ready for our photos on time!  There were 11 women for hair and 6 women for make-up, plus the bride!  They even brought beautiful flowers to add to my bridesmaids' hair!  They covered everyone's unique styles from my flower girl to my mother-in-law.  They made my hair and make up look prettier than I could have imagined!  They brought an energetic vibe, and we all had so much fun getting ready together...exactly what I had hoped for!  They definitely played a huge role in making our wedding day the best day of our lives so far! Thanks to Kelly I had the BEST first Brazilian wax experience! At first I was shy but she made me feel comfortable and it was quick! It took about 30-45 mins. Which is pretty decent for a Brazilian (Research). I will definitely go back next month! If anyone is looking for a good Brazilian/bikini wax in Lahaina, Plush is the place to go! Before going on vacation I was so busy and did not have time to get a wax before I left. Luckily I got one of the best Brazilian waxes of my entire life here at Plush. I was so skeptical going in, mainly because its a hair salon and doesn't strictly focus on waxing which in my previous experience is the number 1 mistake people make when waxing. But to my surprise the lady who did my wax was truly an expert. (I want to say her name is Kelly but I could be wrong, she said she recently starting working there about 3 months ago but had been waxing for a long time before). Anyways, the waxing room is calm and relaxing. It is also very clean. I only use hard wax and swore away strip wax long ago. The wax they use is so amazingly gentle and worked really well with my hair type. It literally felt like someone was just pulling tape off my skin, I have had bandaids ripped off that were more painful than this entire wax.Highly recommend, its not the cheapest but these things never are! First off, I have never trusted a hair salon before coming here. I knew I wanted to get my hair done, but I was hesitant since I've always had horrible results in other places. I haven't had my hair colored in about 5 years, so I wasn't sure where to go. This place was the first to come up on yelp and all the reviews were amazing so I called up right away to make an appointment. I had no idea they would be able to fit me in the same day I called so I was planning on getting my hair done a week after calling, but they were able to get me in. Jess was my hair stylist and she was very sweet and professional. She knew exactly what look I was going for just by giving her a short description and a few pictures of the look I wanted. After about two hours, she finished my hair beautifully and exactly what I had in mind! I was amazed a hair salon actually made me happy since I've never had good experiences with them. I was referred to Plush by one of the gals at Napili Kai where we were staying.   I went for color, highlights, and cut.    It is the first time while I have been on vacation that I stepped out to have my hair done so I was a little anxious at first.    Well, there was no reason for that at all!    For starters, I called the salon on Sunday when they were closed and left a message.   Tiana called me first thing Monday to follow up and set up an appointment.   I went in later that morning.    The salon was clean, open, airy, friendly, and is in an easy location to access and park.   My appointment was with Jess and she did not disappoint.    I love the color, highlights and cut she gave me and I have received compliments since returning home.    I told my husband that now we need to go to Maui more often so I can get my hair done :-).Thank you Tiana, Jess, and Plush for a really nice experience. Went here for the first time and had the pleasure of meeting Collin, who has come highly recommended by several people here on island. His work speaks for itself and is truly a master at what he does.  He's a real character but nonetheless a gentleman from TX. I was sad to hear (once I found someone who can cut my curly hair without making me look like a Loofa) that he will be moving onto his next endeavor in the barber shop world. I wish him nothing but the best in all he does and who knows, there might be a day when I walk into the barber shop asking for a fade, cut in and/or flat top just like Kid in Play! ;-)Keep up the spunk, I dig your style and who knows, maybe one day our paths will collide (flat top or not!)
