I went there for an engagement party and I was very impressed. Â The place was clean and the staff was amazing. Â They where very attentive. Â There was free beer, wine, or soda at the party and the staff didn't hold back on the drinks. The food was amazing. It was nice to see the kitchen staff always making sure there was enough food. Had a first date at Plan B, and it was great! Â First to note, Suffern was the halfway point to meet and there were other option, but I loved the name of Plan B. Came here late (ok fine, 9pm) for dinner with some out of town visitors. We got a sampling of food ranging from the prime rib to the cheeseburger, and all of it is excellent. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the place is clean. I'll definitely be back. I'd say the only thing losing one star is the loudness of the music. It was a few notches too loud for easy conversation. We loved the choice of music (classic rock) but would have loved it a little softer. We will definitely come back. Went to Plan B after a great hike at Ramapo Valley Reservation. We had our dog with us and looked for places that had outdoor seating. ..check. Luckily, we were in time for brunch and ordered bottomless mimosa at a fantastic price of $12. She had the French toast and I had scrambled eggs with lox, cream cheese bagel and fatter tots!Waitress brought out a bowl for my doggy and she was very attentive. Not sure I even know how to begin...other than to say WOW! Traveling on a Thursday night late, looking for something lite to eat and a few drinks. The hotel provided a list of places to stop within NJ...but at 1130pm-12am places where already closing. Yelped a few places and found one 1 1/2 miles away...Plan A wasn't working...so Plan B it was! They where open till at least 2am and my beautiful wife and I decided why not. We went in and sat at the bar, ordered some drinks and the nicest bartender heard our story of our long day travel. "Sam" turned on the best customer service experience for a restaurant I've had. He turned the fryers back on for us to make us some wings and empanadas. He made us feel welcomed and understood our plight of being hungry after traveling half the night. to Sam! Thank you for treating us like family! So here's the part in my review about the food and place I'm going to absolutely rave about! The wings were absolutely delicious. It had great flavor, it was moist and delicious and it was done the way we like...just a little extra crispy. However the empanadas were "slap your momma" good! Man O' Man...the first bite was like knowing you have discovered maybe the best first bite you'll ever have up till that moment!! They were crispy and filled with great flavors of savory and spicy meat...but wait...there was a sweetness factor. They put a banana in it. That was a difference maker and a big difference it made. That empanada went from good to absolutely amazing when you took that bite. The food was so good that before we left the next day my beautiful wife and I decided to grab lunch. Thank goodness we did. The owner "Fletcher" was there as well as the cook "Steve". We had laughs and we heard stories of two amazing people lives. Fletcher is one cool owner with a history lesson of his remarkable life. Steve came out to make sure our food was good and had some time to chat with us about his remarkable life's journey. These two are doing what they want to do how they want to do it! This isn't a "Plan B" stop...this should be your plan a if you want great atmosphere and amazing food. Fresh and done right! Great Job Fletcher....I'll see you again soon! More...

Don't judge a book by its cover! Burgers are perfect! Offered in 2 sizes (1/2 lb and 1/3 lb), fries or salad. Creative toppings on house burgers without going overboard. Custom burgers as well. It's a great townie place. I drove from RI to be in town for a business meeting on the following day. After three hours on the road I popped in here for a libation and a bite to eat. The prices are right. The service was quick and the food was good. The kind people at the bar struck up a conversation with me like I was a regular there. It was a comfortable feeling. I held a 30 year College Reunion here and it was the best thing I could have done. Although the bar area is on the smaller side, we were able to spread out in the back half of the room. From the first time I spoke with the owner Fletcher he was amazing and accommodating. The night of the event Paula and Austin were fantastic and helped make the night one to remember. So many of my guests said it was such a great place to have it and are.looking forward to the next one. We had a bunch of finger food for everyone and it went pretty quick, all of it delicious. Mike the bartender is GREAT! My boyfriend and I occasionally go for a drink or two after a day of work or rehearsal, and every time we’ve had him he’s nothing but exceptional. Mike is incredibly nice, excellent with service, and knowledgeable with what he’s doing. It’s bartenders like him who turn patrons into regulars. Going here is always a good time and he only made it better! The owner (Fletcher, I believe?) has always been nice and clearly knows what he’s doing in terms of hiring a staff!
