Plainfield has the best pet dental care in NJ. My old cat had a lot of dental issues and even broke one of his canines and these guys handled him with such love and care. I recently lost my husband Sam and when Bella got sick I was so afraid of losing her too. To make matters worse, our vet moved this year and I wasn't comfortable with some of the local vets that I had used in the past. Plainfield animal hospital was recommended through a friend. We were impressed with the staff immediately and then we met Dr Shekk. She's warm, caring, gentle and so knowledgeable, that she put my mind to ease right away. She talked to Bella as if she were her own and made her feel at ease too. Dr Shekk even calls to check up on her progress. I wish my medical doctors did that. All of the doctors and team there have been great. Our Squeakers has a difficult case of diabetes that we have been fighting for a year. The team here has listened to our concerns, given their best advice, and referred us for a consult with a specialist. We have another cat who is less than pleasant (Saudi!!!!), but they take such good care of him, too. Squeakers has boarded there when we travel, and I just can't thank them enough for everything! Charlie got attack by a Pitt bull and his left leg got beat up really bad! We brought him along with piscataway police! I thought he will die but everyone at this clinic did all they could do to save Charlie! Charlie is now stronger and better but we're more conscious where he goes! Had to bring my ferret here for emergency surgery after wasting three hours and getting nothing done at another vet. They were able to see me and my ferret, evaluate his condition, and perform emergency surgery within an hour of my arrival, on a Sunday even! Today was my third visit with my cat milo for urinary tract issues...first time i was impressed by the new facility and the staff there are all very friendly . .each time i called to make an appointment for my cat i was taken immediatly. upon arrival we are checked in and never waited longer then a few minutes to be put in the room to wait for vet...from there same, vet came in promptly..everything that they did was explained first. They treated my cat like we treat him..and that says alot. all three times we had different vets and they all took their time with us explaining what was needed to be done and if we understood ect...so i am very pleased with whom ever see's my cat there because they all are wonderful.. and they also call us to check on him a few days later to see how he is doing. Plainfield Animal Hospital is the best! There are plenty of veterinarians where I live in Bridgewater but I chose Plainfield Animal Hospital, its totally worth the drive! I have been taking my cats to see Dr Blaicher for years and have always gotten excellent, caring service. When one of my cats needed surgery two years ago, the staff at Plainfield Animal Hospital could not have been better. They were very patient with all my calls (and my daily visits) to see how my cat was doing during his stay. The folks at the front desk and the technicians are always friendly and helpful even though it is an extremely busy environment. I wish my doctors were as good as Dr Blaicher! More...

Dr. Kellie Daly is AMAZING. If you can get an appointment to see her or you happen to see her by chance you will be nothing but pleased. She is very down to Earth, friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable. She is one of those vets that is not looking to get your life savings out of you....she will actually get down on the floor with your pet to do the exam and she will talk to you in ""real"" terms that you can understand. The receptionists at the front desk are always pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Certainly, the prices may be a bit higher than other local vets, but you must consider the care that you are getting from the highly skilled veterinarians and technicians there. Your pet is getting high-quality care and up-to-date diagnostics. I would rather pay a little more to get great care of my animals than go somewhere else to have my animal mis-diagnosed or given poor treatment. More...
