My kids can eat a whole pizza making this place a little unaffordable for our family- but it's dang good.

Pizza Brutta is always a good choice. Their authentic Neapolitan pizza is absolutely delicious. Select from their recommended topping combinations or build your own. A smaller kids size is available as well. They also have a choice of salads to accompany your pie. It's a premium taste, so expect to pay a little more...but it's well worth the treat. More...

After the game we stopped here for a bite. Great little pizza place with a nice staff and good food.Every pizza is a large personal size. We had an americano and a carbonara pizza. They were both very good and we washed them down with a local beer. Will definitely be back if in town in again! More...

Thin crust but not cracker-like and dry. Charred from the oven but not burned, just enough to add flavor. The pre-invented pizzas are all interesting. I love Calabrian peppers and they have them. It would be amazing if the pepperoni could be the little crispy cup and char kind instead of flopping like salami but it makes it easy for me to forgo the meat, so that's a good thing. And, the staff is always cheerful. You can taste in the pies that it must be a good place to work. More...

As a New Yorker, my dad is something of a pizza snob. He loves a great thin crust, and he's all about classic toppings - something that's excellent in its simplicity like a margherita. When I first moved to Madison in 2014, my dad & I came to Pizza Brutta together. We were impressed! Flavor was amazing, the crust was good. Overall great quality food, and the service was friendly too. After our meal, he told me that now that I'd found a good pizza place, I'd have everything I need to survive in this new city on my own. I still live in Madison, and I still love Pizza Brutta. More...

Good Tuscan style pizza, friendly staff, surprisingly fast service despite being busy. It's just tough giving any pizza outside of NYC 5 stars after living there.

On a Madtown adventure we were famished and just happened upon this gem. We are gluten free, and as soon as I saw heirloom tomatoes on the menu, I was sold. Hands down the BEST pizza joint I've ever had the pleasure of dining in. Staff was friendly, quite informative about the area, and Jack knows how to make a damn good pie. We will be back! More...

I normally love going here, friendly staff, barely any wait. No complaints here up until the last time. I normally get a personal size margherita pizza. The last time I got one it was sad and limpy :( Like literally I regretted spending the money on it. I've been coming here for a while and sadly I don't know if I'll be returning. More...

It's been a while since our last visit, but finally made it back after a visit to the zoo and before stocking up at Trader Joe's. The pizza is great! Chewy, thin crust with a slight char from the oven. My kind of pizza. Focaccia that comes with caprese salad is also very good yet I would not call it focaccia but rather a naked pizza dough cooked with rosemary, salt, etc. did I mention the caprese?! Probably best I've ever had. Served warm-ish, possibly due to the blistered cherry tomatoes that it's topped with, but it makes the cheese, and whole dish really, just so much more flavorful vs the usual cold, water experience of fresh mozzarella. Fast and casual, perfect for dining w kids. More...

This place is great. I've only been a few times but today's visit really sealed the deal. I got the Margherita and it was perfection. The mozzarella was creamy, the sauce was tangy and tasted of fresh tomatoes, the Basil was aromatic but truly it was all about the crust. Perfectly baked in a brick oven, the crust had lovely little black blisters, a pleasant crunch on the outside, and a doughy, slightly stretchy inside.Loved it! More...

Just looking at the menu made my mouth water so I just had to try something from this place and it made my mouth water. The beet salad was a perfect side to the pizza I ordered. The dough was cooked perfectly and the actual contents/toppings worked in perfect harmony. Would definitely come back just to try more of their menu. I ordered one pizza and a full serving of the beet salad but shared it with a friend and it was perfect to fill the both of us. More...

I'm from Minneapolis and love Punch pizza. This is the closest thing to it in Wisconsin. Great service and amazing food. They also have great salads (Gorgonzola and the Beet Salad are fantastic). I also recommend ordering a side of hot honey with your pizza. They have a cute back patio in the warmer months. Definitely check this place out if you're in Madison. More...

Went to Pizza Brutta on Pi Day for dinner. I am a huge fan of their service and pies. The service is very quick and streamlined -- we were able to get through a pretty long line and order our food within 5 minutes. The two pies I ordered took only 10 minutes to make. The pies themself had a nice thin and crisp base. I got a mix of meats (sausage, bacon, ham etc.) and they tasted very fresh and were very savory. Overall Pizza Brutta is a very nice spot to visit if you're looking to grab a quick snack or sit down dinner with family/friends. I am a huge Trader Joe's fan and that's right across the street, so it's a no-brainer. More...

Always a hit with our family! The pizza is delicious! I love the Margherita and the Fungi is also a favorite of mine. I especially love the arugula that can be ordered to be added after cooking. Pizza Brutta is my go to for a quick bite during dinner when you don't want to have to wait in line for long. They usually have seating in booths available and the pizzas come out very quickly. I enjoy their selection of fire baked pizzas and they're very affordable. Overall would recommend to anyone who likes pizzas made over a fire and enjoy traditional pies. They're sausage and broccoli rabe pizza is my favorite. More...

Pie crusts blackened much too much. Pies were tasty but quite pricey with delivery charge given that they were no more than 8 and a half inches in diameter (roughly the size of two slices of pizza from a 16 inch pie). Pi times radius squared will show you these pies are 1/4th the size of a 16 inch pie. More...
