Since opening in 2008, we have made many changes to the gym and our facility. In our early years, we were very team training heavy, but over the past few years we have attracted clients who began to take us on another path. As our gym evolved, and we survived two years of the virus, we have become a totally different business. Our bootcamp sessions and team training offerings slowly faded as we originally offered them and have evolved into a support tool for our semi-private and one-on-one training.

The majority of our clients are over the age of 40, which has resulted in us specializing in fitness after 40, and this new client wants a different experience from the gym.

Today we offer semi-private personal training, one-on-one training, along with team training as an option for the days in between personal training sessions. While our clients have many different goals and reasons for coming to the gym, at heart of what they are looking for is more personalized and individualized support.

In order to meet this new demand, we moved past being team training heavy, and we have increased our semi-private and one-on-one personal training sessions to be the area’s choice for the upscale client who is looking for more than the crowded, often dirty, low-priced big box or group training gym can offer.

Finally, we are more than just getting you results. We have invested a tremendous amount of money and time into training our coaches and staff on how to help any client become more successful in whatever dream they are chasing in fitness. But we are also a gym who constantly works to keep you safe in this ever-changing world we live in today. We have remodeled the gym yet again to provide more privacy, more ability for us to keep you in your own space without having to share equipment around the gym, and to achieve a space where our clients can get the individualized experience and privacy they want as part of their fitness experience.

We are Pittsburgh North Fitness, the region’s only fitness after 40 specialists, and we are the area’s only upscale, elite choice for the client who wants, and demands, more for their investment in their health and fitness.
