Ben (owner) was a pleasure to work with. We booked Piper’s over a year out and had a venue change. It was over an hour difference and ben was very accommodating and had no issues with the change. Ben catered for our wedding this spring and it was absolutely incredible. Most people say you never get a chance to eat on your wedding day, but I made sure I made the time to enjoy the awesome meal he prepared for us. From pulled pork and chicken salad (my favorite) sandwiches to bacon ranch tortellini, everything was impeccable and delicious. The meal gave me enough energy for the rest of the night and made me excited for leftovers! There was more than enough, we heard once we got back from our honeymoon, and the company made sure everything was where it needed to be and perfectly set for the reception dinner. We used Piper's Pit as our wedding caterer, and it could not have been better. Literally, almost all our guests went up for seconds (and even thirds), and it was all so fresh and hot. They left us plenty of food to get us not only through dinner, but also for anyone who wanted to snack throughout the night. The appetizers Ben created for us (crab rangoon dip with wonton chips) were so amazing that we ran out 20 minutes into our appetizer hour, even though we had enough for 200 people at a 95 person wedding. The prices were extremely reasonable, and like I said, everyone was raving about it all night. Plus, Ben even included extra bottled sauces for us to take home! Ben did BBQ catering for our wedding. It was delicious, reasonably priced and he was really easy work with. I've had several friends and family members order pans of his food for picnics and birthday parties and it's always SO good. His sauces are the best and we always have a bottle of each in the fridge. This is a minute down the road from my house and I've been dying to try it! It was quick service and the staff was extremely friendly. I got a pulled pork sandwich, the bbq sauce was tasty and the bread was extremely fresh. The Mac and cheese was also delicious. My boyfriend got their shack stack with brisket and chips that he said he'll be getting it again. The place is simple and delicious. That's really what makes BBQ so good. I can't wait to go back! I thought getting good authentic barbecue in Western Pennsylvania was impossible, that was until I ate here. The meat was flavorful and fall apart tender. I got the shack stack (brisket on a bed of Mac and cheese with crushed chips on top) and it was incredible, I will absolutely be getting it again. We just had a surprise 70th for our father this past Sunday ( Mother's Day ) Ben did an amazing job accommodating our specific needs. We had 300-350 ppl which kept growing as the day got closer .Ben easily accomplished Our expectations with professionalism and ease ( at least he made it look that way ) . We did not run out of anything and had very little left over . I planned this event from Las Vegas NV and he help make it so easy .
