Love this place. We went for a "empty nest" visit to the North Carolina Transportation Museum's Polar Express excursion and had a wonderful romantic dinner before hand. We had a very smooth bottle of Argentinian Pinot no war for well under $30. Enjoyed a special veal dish wrapped around asparagus and the most amazing provolone cheese. Elizabeth's chicken marsala was cooked to perfection. I classically trained chef from Italy and his wife are the owners of this gem. The waitstaff was professional, attentive, and accommodating. I work for BRAAS Company and this was our company's year end celebration for breaking the $100M mark in sales. Pinocchio's Italian Restaurant was wonderful to work with before, during, and after the event. The food tasted delicious and we even had one employee who went back for seconds. This was a awesome place to start a night of awesome memories �service was excellent and food also ,, just make sure you if you have a large party , have waitress re read your order before she leaves to put it in, because if a wrong plate comes out it’s your loss, they don’t believe in customer right or satisfaction , that was old lady who I believe owned the place who was the only bad part of the whole experience , we were a party of ten , I don’t think I would eat there again , for that reason, work to hard for my paycheck and I was brought up in a restaurant family business and our customers were what was important ,, sad ,, but if your hungry and double check and maybe write down for own defense a copy of order , you might have a better experience ,,

It was our first time eating at Pinocchio's. The service was great. The Food was awesome. We ate the Calamari & Vegetable Lasagna & the Meat Lasagna. We didn't have reservations and they worked us in fast. They have a real Chef from Italy. He has worked there for 20 years. Cool place to eat at. It may have been our first time but it will not be our last time. It's HARD to find GOOD Food & Service at the same place. Thanks Again for a great time & making us feel so welcome. More...

Had another EXCELLENT meal at Pinocchio's Friday evening. Honored to have spend the evening with the owners' family in pre-celebration of a wedding - even waited on by the GROOM! Fresh highest-quality food, terrific flavor combinations, , perfect protein preparation, balanced sweet profiles in the three desserts we ordered. So many thanks! (We had the Alice fish app and the mussels app, the filet mignon w/gorganzola entree and veal special, and balsamic and lemon gelatos and a chocolate and custard pot - I think, there is so much to remember!) Is it possible to be The Perfect 10.We all talk five star restaurants. Pinocchio's in Spencer ,North Carolina is all of Five Stars and more. Great Food,Reasonable Prices an excellent wine list.Great wait staff and an atmosphere that makes you already look forward to your next visit.They had me hooked with the homemade bread not to mention the spectacular dishes on the menu.I have eaten there with my wife and friends many times and already I am ready for another trip to Pinocchio's of Spencer!! Pinocchio's is our favorite restaurant to go to, and where we always take our out-of-town guests. They have excellent food, with innovative specials each week, and a wonderful wine list to go with the meals. Thursday is half-price wine night - our favorite night to go. They have recently added many gluten-free items, and are using local farm ingredients for many dishes. If you have any allergies, they can work with you. The wait staff is extremely conscientious.
