I would like to express how disappointed I am with the service of a rude lady working at the front desk (Portuguese lady who wears glasses).
I don't know her name and I wouldn't like to know because I believe people like her shouldn't work with others. It's not the first time she has been extremely rude and very disrespectful to me again today! I regret that a bakery I really enjoy going to has people like her working!
I visited the bakery as I always do on Sundays, and she treated me differently as soon as she saw me. Today, once again, she was extremely rude. I ordered a cheese sandwich, a baguette, and a large éclair. However, she treated me poorly, simply because I mentioned that I wanted a large éclair, mimicking me for possibly mispronouncing it in her mind. This is total disrespect towards the customer. You receive many Brazilians, Spaniards, and people who don't speak the correct pronunciation, but she shouldn't play around with that.
You should choose better and more competent people to work at the front desk.

I have been coming here with my family since I was a child. This review is long overdue but I absolutely love this bakery. The staff is amazing. The custard cups are the best I have ever had and trust me, I have had a lot. They are so kind and always serve fresh baked goods and if you call ahead, they will tell you when the items are literally coming fresh out of the oven (not that anything sits long because of the crowd). I love that they hire teens and give them an opportunity to get some work experience in a fun environment. I'm kind of ranting here but I'm saying all this to say this is really the best bakery. I've been a daily customer for 30 years. Julie and Raul are the salt of the earth. There love ,And dedication to their business shows in their product. . this establishment doesn't need my praise the line is always out the door. That always tells you something. Deli and hot food are as popular as the bakery products. It's a wonderful place when you have time To relax. have a bite to eat ,and have some dessert perhaps take some of that deliciousness to go. Popular bakery - lines constantly out the door. A wonderful array of options await you. The sour cream donut was my favorite. The minion themed cookie was solid (yes I'm a kid at heart) and the cinnamon roll and glazed donut were ok albeit not special. There are so many options I'll surely be back to find more favorites. Local bakery with great good that you can't go wrong with. The bread is fresh and tasty and the custard cups are a great party hit to pick up. My grandmother friend likes to grab lunch like soup and a sandwich from them too! They have some adapted seating for COVID but I didn't feel the enforce social distancing and mindfulness amongst the guests. I always order cakes from this bakery. Today on Mother's Day I called to get one white chocolate cake wrap up. It wasn't an special order. Just for me to go and pick it up and the lady over the phone was extremely nasty. Terrible attitude, telling me she wasn't taking orders over the phone, that I have to go and pick one of the ones they have there. I tried to explain myself about the one I wanted which they always have it there ready. She didn't let me finish and just rushed me to hung u. This was our second time coming here, and although it was packed, the pastries here are worth the craziness inside.We got a triple chocolate cupcake, chocolate dipped biscotti, a Napoleon, an egg tart, Swedish fika, and a crème brûlée. The young male who helped me was very polite, everything is very fresh and good quality, and I highly recommend stopping by for a visit. I spoke to a lovely woman who was also a customer while I was in line, and she was recommending their cakes to me as well.Lastly, they are very reasonably priced- everything came out to roughly $18. The potuegese tarts are really good- the best we had so far! Its super flaky and the custard is creamy. My kids all ate 2 each right there at the patio area I had to buy another box to make sure we have more to eat at home

Shout out to Julie the bakery manager who saved the day. After ordering a bunch of baked goods including the famous custard cups the person who helped me neglected to include the custard cups when I left. Although I was not charged for them it was the main reason why I went there and after being an hours drive away, Julie save the day by delivering the baked goods and then some to my mother in law. I called first for colored white bread the said they can make it. When we got there the baker/owner said she make but couldn't make it now she was short handed and just getting by a couldn't take on a project. Note all the display cabinets were over flowing. Just stopped by my favorite bakery for some delicious fresh bread and donuts since I was in the neighborhood. No indoor dining yet. The bakery was busy as usual. I have tried just about everything in the bakery and have never been or left disappointed. Their staff is polite, patient, the atmosphere is clean and their parking lot speaks for itself (always packed). I truly appreciate the fact that at the last minute for any event or affair that they always have extra cakes on hand and can expedite a plain cake into whatever suits your needs at no extra charge. I love their rolls and custards however yesterday I purchased the different pastries and they all went to garbage . I am so sorry to say that but I think the quality of their pastries changed and not for better. We have cappuccino mouse cake, chocolate mouse slice , and cherry mouse cake .
