Delicious food, sumptuous desserts and a wonderful array of coffees made this experience memorable. Service was a little slow, especially considering a 6:15 PM reservation and a nearly empty restaurant. Friendly staff, but way too much waiting time between courses and we had to find our server to ask for dessert menus and coffee. We'll definitely give it another try though. Great food (except the mashed potatoes were kinda bland). Staff was great, friendly and attentive. Given that Google rated this only 2 dollar signs, I certainly wasn't expecting the prices to be so high. Dinner for 2, no drinks/appetizers, split dessert, $100 after tip. The food was well worth the price. Seriously some of the best dishes I've ever eaten. While it specific waiter was slightly distracted, the rest of the staff was amazing. We had the lamb chops, bone-in ribeye, wedge salad, and caprese salad. All of the coffees and desserts we tried were rich and decadent. Great place to celebrate a special occasion. Their steaks are so good that they give you a butter knife to cut them! Seriously. Seems like everything on the menu is delicious. My bread pudding was amazing. Plan to spend about $50 per person (with tips).UPDATE:Had a great experience eating here a year ago. Came back and had a more disappointing meal. Great food, but a bit over-priced. I will say, I asked for a Med Rare Plus cook on my filet and it was spot on! The chefs know their temperatures. This is really a 3.5 ☆ review, but I'm rounding up and giving them the benefit of the doubt here. Service was very good and the food was delicious overall. But we had to send 2 items back because they came out cold.Appetizer: Crab Stuffed Mushrooms. Tasty, but there was either too much cheese or not enough crab, because you could barely taste the crab. This was also one of the items that came out cold. Crab Cakes: Also lacking in crab meat. Also served cold. Entrees: Lamb Chops w/Crab Mac & Cheese and Filet Mignon. The lamb was INCREDIBLE. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Filet Mignon could be cut with a butter knife. Perfect. The mashed potatoes on the side were creamy and delicious. The greens that came with were slightly overcooked, but still had excellent taste. The Crab Mac & Cheese was, again, lacking a bit on the crab meat, but was still very tasty overall. All in all, it was a very good meal, but had the lamb and filet mignon not been so exceptional, the dinner would have been a disappointment. The waitstaff could not have been more gracious, especially when it came to sending a couple of items back. Will definitely try this place again when I'm in the area. I feel like we may have caught them on an off night and that our experience was the exception and not the rule. More...
