If you are on the fence about getting a wedding coordinator or have been searching and reading countless reviews to find the perfect person, look no further, I promise! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with GPE the three months leading up to our wedding, specifically Rachel and we are so incredibly happy with their services. Not only was Rachel down to earth, punctual to every meeting/appointment, she helped me to bring my wedding vision to life with her ideas and feedback. She handled every small detail to keep the stress away from us both, which we appreciated. She made suggestions for some vendors and the ones we did end up using we absolutely loved. She kept the line of communication open and never made me feel like I was asking a million and one questions. I could never express how thankful and lucky I am to have met Rachel and everyone we worked with at GPE. My wedding day was flawless thanks to GPE and all their hard work behind the scenes. Special should out to Juana! She was part of the GPE team on my wedding day and was in charge of me and the girls in the bridal suite. I contacted Matt last year about designing website for me, but got busy and totally pushed it off. A few months ago I decided it was time to make a change. I reached back out to Matt about designing my website again. He did an AMAZING job at listening to me needs, ideas, and providing feedback. It was a very easy and smooth transition! I was rather surprised at how quickly the process went. Matt also was able to channel my brand even though I have never really had a "branding" kit made for my business. We just used GPE for our wedding planning, and it was an incredible experience! We worked with Rachel, who is a dream, for pre-event coordination and day-of management, and I will never be able to say enough nice things about her. Her attention to detail, care for her couples, and knowledge helped make our wedding everything we could have hoped for. She listened to what we needed/wanted in planning and took all the stress away from my husband and me for the wedding, so we just got to enjoy the day. We also got to work with Gabi for the actual wedding day and had an awesome experience with her as well. I highly recommend the GPE team for your wedding! If I could give Gabi more than 5 stars I would! Gabi and her team helped more than we thought we would need! She kept us on track with planning the wedding, let us send her some of our decorations and items for the wedding since we were traveling, and did so much for us that we were the most relaxed people before the wedding! Where do I start?!?! Gabi is AMAZING!!! Let me start by explaining how I found Gabi. I suffer from insomnia and this one night back in July of 2019, I was wide awake in bed, scrolling through Instagram and checking out all the wedding hashtags and came across her business profile. I really liked what I saw and then I started watching ALLLLL her videos and at that moment, I knew that Gabi was my girl and we had to meet. The next day, I contacted her through her website and she got back to me very quickly and we set up a phone interview. After the phone interview, we planned to meet up for drinks and apps to go over our vision and talk about what kind of planning packages she offers. After that 1st face to face meeting, I told my now Husband that she was the one & we had to hire her (HE AGREED). We started planning our July 4th, 2020 wedding and then 4 months before our special day, Covid hits and the world is on lockdown. Even through all the changes and a 2nd postponement (Thanks again, Covid) Gabi was so cool, calm and collected when I was not. She is extremely professional and was able to execute our vision better than we could have ever imagined. All the vendors that she suggested to us were a HOMERUN!! It was such a pleasure getting to work with Gabi & her amazing team (shout out to Rachel, you're a rockstar too!) Not only is she super organized but she is hella funny, very personable and such a joy to talk to and be around. My Husband and I are sad that we won't get our weekly emails, text messages and zoom meetings with her anymore but we plan to keep in touch because she is just that awesome! Going for GPE was one of the best decision we could have made because it brought us to Rachel our wedding coordinator. Rachel was absolutely a amazing a fb ande why could have been a nerve wrecking, stressful, and anxious day run as smooth as possible. Gabi was our wedding coordinator for our Dec 2021 wedding and she really saved us! I was overwhelmed and overall lost. Lol.
After our first meeting with her, I remember my husband saying, “well I feel safe now” and it’s true! She came in and gave us these amazing resources to help us find our other wonderful vendors.
She helped us to plan a wedding that would be authentic to us so that we’d have a great day. By the time your wedding day arrives, Gabi feels like your friend who reassures you, helps you, and can ease any anxiety. Also, her entire team is amazing and our family loved them! They were extremely kind and helpful. My husband and I joke about having to have more weddings just to work with Gabi again. You have to hire her, you just have to! :)

Gabi did an absolutely wonderful job on the florals for our wedding! Our wedding planner recommended her very highly after having worked with her on a previous wedding. She was very communicative and fun to work with, and helped us create our perfect vision (along with some great creative additions) down to every last detail! My husband and I instantly clicked with Gabi. She’s straightforward, funny, understanding and gets sh** done. We worked with Gabi for two years, through one postponement, a few breakdowns (all me), and a lot of crazy design ideas that she so flawlessly helped us bring to life. We always felt so supported and heard by Gabi. After the wedding, I was genuinely sad when I realized I wouldn’t be interacting with her as often as we were while planning! From our very first meeting with Gabi, it was clear that she not only cared about bringing our wedding to life, but she cared about us as a couple. From the moment you contact Gabi you know you are in good hands. She really cares about you as a person and cares about making your day one that is uniquely yours and special.
She is extremely organized and met with us several times prior to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she had a complete crew, impeccably dressed, wearing headsets. Each person was assigned to a particular task and/or person. She made sure the event ran smoothly and my husband and I enjoyed our special day. No detail was left unnoticed. Gabi also helped us incorporate our pets into the wedding. She even grabbed the pups during the ceremony after they walked us down the aisle. (I highly recommend a pet sitter for the day of the event as well.) Gabi really is the event coordinator extraordinaire!
Gabi also did our floral design for the wedding. We had our wedding at Carondelet House and Gabi was familiar with the location and knew right away what worked best in terms of design. Her vision within our budget was extraordinary. I would highly recommend Gabi.

Do not look any further for a website designer! I LOVED working with Matt on my website. He was extremely responsive to all of my emails, answered all of my questions very thoroughly from the very initial client inquiry I had sent through project completion. He was organized, very thorough, on top of everything, and detailed oriented. In addition to designing my site with one of the beautiful templates Swoone offered, he let me know on the backend what my site needed to function well (spam filters, google plug ins etc) which is what I also wanted very much for my project. I felt like I got an amazing price for the service I was provided. My site was finished SO quickly! Within a week of starting the project I had a revamped and beautiful website .I would absolutely use Swoone again for any web design work and recommend to anyone looking for a new and beautiful website. I'd been noodling a new website for ages, flip flopping between designing one myself and hiring someone to do it for me. I knew I wanted the Showit platform, so about a year ago, I looked through bunches of design templates, really liking two from Swoone. I even went so far as to call them and talk about how easy it would be for me to create a site myself. Suffering from analysis paralysis as well as time constraints, I never went through with purchasing one. Fast forward to a couple of months ago, and I was ready. Never one to go the easy route and just go back to the designs I’d liked before, I had to know all of my options. Every. Single. One. I scoured the Showit designs and looked at each designer’s template options, again loving those from Swoone. Although I’d initially planned to purchase a template and design my new site myself, I quickly realized that in order for me to get exactly what I wanted (I’m extremely persnickety.) that it would be smarter to hire a Swoone designer to customize one instead. The design process was fantastic and FAST. Two weeks before our scheduled design week, Matt sent me homework. I had to map out what my vision was for the site based on my initial template. I had plenty of freedom to add ideas, show other sample sites I liked, and dream a bit. My previous site was mainly a gallery website, so the hardest part of this process was creating brand new copy and picking the images I wanted to include. Once Design Week arrived, Matt took all of my ideas and content, swirled it with his ideas, design skills, and some pixie dust, and POOF, we had a beautiful first draft. Over the course of the week, we had several Zoom calls where we tweaked, changed, and polished it, with Matt encouraging me to be as particular as I wanted. I loved that he was as detail oriented as I am. I could not be more thrilled with my website and the entire design process. Matt was AMAZING. He took something that I’d been agonizing over and made it completely FUN. From start to finish he was responsive, informative, and wildly creative. He is as persnickety as I am and that takes some doing. I now have a website to which I am proud to direct clients, that truly represents my brand and my photography work. I was burned in the past from a former website designer so my skepticism in finding a new designer definitely was putting a dent in my decision making until I spoke with Matt. I was referred to Swoone/La Lune by a colleague and I loved their simple yet modern designs. Matt scheduled a video call with me to go over the process and answer all my questions (I had a lot!) I knew as soon as we spoke he was the correct choice. From the minute we hung up, he had sent over a plan and a very detailed timeline for our process. Matt was SUPER communicative and present for all my concerns/questions. He provided a detailed questionnaire that really kept me on track as well as 4 live revisions that let us both work together in a smoother easier work flow. I still can not believe I had a full site rebuild in ONE WEEK! Yes I could not believe my eyes when I initially read that, but due to Matt's diligence, communication and organization it was a complete success! I HIGHLY recommend Matt!
