So Pierson's has been my favorite greenhouse/flower shop in the area for 20+ years and I'm surprised I hadn't given them 5 stars already. Â A recent experience proved that they truly are a business that cares for its clientele, reputation and excellence: Â My husband recently got a great promotion and as a thank you for my support sent a flower arrangement to the house. Â I was so excited when I saw the Pierson's delivery truck pull into the driveway as my husband regularly comes up with thoughtful and somewhat extravagant surprises. Â What I received was disappointing and left me feeling guilty as I knew my husband would be upset, plus it wasn't the regular high quality I'd come to expect from Pierson's. Â I reached out to the business to let them know as this wasn't their normal standard of quality, assuring them that I would still be a loyal customer and didn't expect anything in return. Â Well, today that same adorable truck pulled up to my house to deliver a gorgeous bright yellow begonia in a glazed terra cotta pot with a personalized apology delivered by a very kind driver which completely made my day!! Sending flowers to a city you don't know is tough. I live near Seattle and we have thousands of florists to choose from so I was daunted when I saw there were just a few in her city. Thank goodness for Yelp. I read all the reviews and chose Pierson's. I ordered pink flowers with accents of magenta or burgundy. We talked about the different pink flowers that were available and decided on Larkspur as the main flower. They turned out gorgeous with shades of pink and deep pink. My friend loved them! I absolutely love this place. They have beautiful flowers and their customer service is top-notch! I purchased three hanging baskets from the store and a few weeks later they looked as if they were dying. I had no idea what was causing them to die and it quite possibly could have been me! I don't feel I have a green thumb, but I try. Anyways, I went back to the store to show them pictures of the flowers and asked what I was doing wrong. I spoke with Al and he suggested I bring them back so he could replace them for me. I told him he didn't have to do that because for all I know, it could have been me that was killing them. But he replied, "I want you to be happy with your flowers though." He allowed me to bring them back and switch them out for three other gorgeous hanging baskets. I will never forget this service Al provided to me and I will be going back there for my flowers from here on out. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all you guys do for your customers! Pierson's is truly the gold standard for flowers. I've been ordering bouquets from them for over a decade of holidays and special occasions for my grandmother, who I don't often get to see. Each one has been unique, fresh and pretty. Their customer service is outstanding, and I was inspired to write this review because of their kindness in making and delivering a beautiful fall bouquet the day before Thanksgiving on short notice. My arrangement includes stargazer lilies and I have to say I can't believe the number of pods that are still going to open!
