What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The keep to any successful dance floor is for the DJ to watch the crowd! Note what people are really jamming to. Also don't forget the older people too. They want to hear music from their generation. And a few slow dances for the "lovers" out there is a good plus.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I consider my photography style unique, "out of the box". I love taking traditional photos but doing fun shots is a great way for the couple to have laughs when they see their wedding photos. Sometimes I will take props with me to add a fun twist!
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret is to be able to think on your feet and also be thinking of the next 5 shots you're doing next. Also to keep all involved engaged. Have fun with everyone. It doesn't have to be that serious. Also be open to suggestions. I ask prior what types of photos they want. Always put your clients needs first.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I always start my questions with "What type of photos do you want me to capture?" I also give them a printed sheet of traditional poses for the day, along with non-traditional poses. I ask if they want photos of the guests on the dance floor, group shots, etc. Knowing exactly what they want & delivering is the key to happy couples
What do you love most about your job?
I just love making people happy. I, myself, love photos. Nothing can take the memory away from great pictures. How many times has a person said, "I wish I took a picture of that!" Once the moment passes, you can't get it back. Pictures to reflect upon is the greatest gift!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My inspiration was me! I was a wedding banquet manager for a long time. Yes I was good at it, but I'm very artistic & creative! I wanted to capture the smiles & laughs, the tears of joy too! I have a strong believe, in order to be a great photographer you have to have any imagination & be creative. Also have a strong editing eye too.
Why should our clients choose you?
All my clients at the end of an event tell me I was so much fun to work with & easy to get along with! Also nothing feels better when I receive a thank you via text or email or a great review. I just want everyone to have a good time and SMILE!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
All my editing albums are online. I edit every photo I take and then compile them into an album. I then send the album to the bridal couple. From there they can choose, print and share all photos.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The world has changed to much since the pandemic. I strong urge anyone involved with my events to please be careful. If you're not feeling well, please do not get in a group photo, or please stay away from kids. Its no ones fault if they are not feeling well, but lets not spread it also.
