I’ve taken the trip to Picante a few times now and I thought it fair to leave a well-deserved review. I love the service they provide. It’s unlike anything in the area. I went twice and didn’t even have to get out of the drivers seat. It was super helpful since I had my young son in the car and another time it was pouring rain. I called from the car to place my order and within minutes it was brought over to the car. Now, onto the food, it was delicious. Having tried a few items on the menu, I can say that they know what they are doing. The empanadas are crispy and the fillings were all super flavorful. The tacos were filled nicely with protein, toppings, and sauces. The fish taco is one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The buffalo chicken taco is also incredible. Everything I’ve eaten has been great and my family and friends all agree. We will be making many trips there and often. I wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes our once a week eat out spot. More...

I just stopped for the first time this afternoon. I ordered the Mexican street shrimp tacos. I also ordered the chips and guacamole on the side and they gave me a couple of their sauces to try.
The guacamole was probably the best I’ve ever had. Everything was absolutely delicious! So fresh! The guys on the truck were super nice and helpful, too.
I don’t live in the Port Jeff area any more, so I really hope they get another truck in the Smithtown area *hint hint*! �
