We eat here for dinner every so often and have had very mixed to bad experiences in the past. They seem to have a new chef that is finally trying to turn things around. There is an entirely new menu with much better choices than before. Prior to this the menu was stagnant and not exciting. My fiance and I visited PCC as one of our first venues, we weren't interested in a country club because we have a lot of out of town guests and wanted to use a ballroom at a hotel for convenience. However, in going to all of the other venues, each one was compared to PCC and did not meet what we where offered here. None of the views were comparable, none of the rooms were comparable. This just kept beating out every other place. Meeting with Chantell for our second tour, she was so friendly and it is obvious she takes pride in her work and loves working here. She went over everything in detail (we spend over 2 hours there!) I can't wait to start planning the reception and I know that no matter what the tiny detail is - she has already thought of it and has at least 5 different ideas for it! More...

Our company had the privilege of visiting Phoenixville Country Club for a corporate event that took place on August 11th, 2016. From the very first phone communication with Chantell, the private dining director, I knew that she understood our event and the high standard for quality we were looking to present for our high net-worth clients. Chantell was detailed, professional, and a pleasure to work with not only during the contracting phase, but through the execution, which was flawless. She worked with our budget to create an upscale 3 course menu that our guests enjoyed, which consisted of a mixed green salad for the starter. For the entrée they were able to select between the chicken francaise, sesame crusted salmon, and the vegetable napoleon. For dessert our guests enjoyed either the triple chocolate cake or the traditional New York cheesecake. Needless to say guests raved about their meals and the service they were given.Our guest experience was also elevated as they were expertly directed into the Centennial Room, one of the private banquet rooms that was dressed beautifully for the occasion. The table was dressed in white linens, and preset to perfection. Chantell even added fresh flowers to the tables which brightened up the room and made it that much more special.We look forward to working with Chantell and the Phoenixville Country Club for more private events in the future. The entire staff at the Phoenixville Country Club were friendly, helpful, and made us feel like our day was the most important thing that they had going on. They were flexible with last minute changes and never made me feel like I was being a crazy bride. We can't say enough nice things about them, we would recommend them to anyone that asks. The setting is beautiful and quaint. When originally looking for venues I was set against country clubs but as soon as I walked into the Phoenixville Country Club I knew I didn't have to go any further. I had to organised my wedding from the UK, only arriving three weeks before, which not surprisingly made everything very hard. We were also only able to set a date three months before the wedding. I was incredibly lucky that when we did set a date, that this incredible venue were free. My fiance and his mother went to see the place and meet with Cindy, the events manager and they instantly felt like it was the right place. The location is beautiful, set in wonderful golfing grounds, next to a beautiful lake. You get the place all to yourself, and no-one else is booked for the same day which is great. They have lovely inside and outside venues, I was lucky enough to get perfect weather for the outside wedding. They have a white arch-thing they put out for you to stand by and they decorated it for me tastefully with while tulle. Cindy was incredibly helpful, especially as I was only able to meet her three weeks before. Having the ceremony and reception here made it all so easy to organise, with the minimum of extra planning needed. We had 75 people at the wedding and the ballroom was perfect for this smaller size. The room has a lot of windows which we liked because during the early portion there was lovely light and views of the lake and parkland. Our photos really benefited from the outside locations. I really love the layout of the inside - the building is just the right size so that everything is close - as you enter the foyer is also a bar (a real bar, not just tables which I really liked) which is open plan into the first dining room, and the two together form the cocktail reception with a veranda overlooking the lake. All in all this was the perfect place for us - everything included and planned so very little extra work for me with lots of help yet the ability to customise things if I wanted. We were very happy to have our daughter's wedding reception at the Phoenixville Country Club. I don't think you could find a more beautiful venue. It's like having your reception at a country manor. We had access to dining room for the cocktail hour and then the ballroom for the dinner - very classic and classy facility.

The food was fantastic. The food service was fast and efficient. Hors d'oeuvres, dinner and then coffee and dessert were delicious and looked beautiful.

The staff was professional, experienced and friendly. You are the center of attention in planning and on the day of the event. More...
