I hired Phillips Garden after admiring a friend's lovely backyard, and learning that they had done the landscaping. I enjoyed working with Tyler, and really liked the plan he came up with. He paid close attention to our concerns (drought-resistant, low-maintenance) and my likes and dislikes. Phillips Garden gave our first-tier suburban yard new life. We couldn't be happier with the innovative design or the installation. They listened to us and gave us a design that exceeded our expectations. The work was handled very efficiently and quickly. The plants are first-quality and grew amazingly well the first season and have overwhelmingly survived their first winter. This spring, Bill and Tyler have already been out to follow up. They are good listeners who know how to create a plan that will enhance both your home and the neighborhood. They created a unique handcrafted stone wall for my front entry. Phillips Garden designed and installed two pavers patios and landscaping for our duplex. The installation of the patios required significant grading and soil preparation.
In addition the landscape architect who designed the plan addressed water/drainage issues we had in this area and he developed the plan to address and remediate these issues. We were very pleased with both the functionality and appearance of the completed project.
The firm was wonderful to work with and completed the project ahead of schedule. Their pricing was very competitive.

Phillips Garden is in a class all by themselves. It is a rarity to find authentic design and build landscape artists and engineers who are not only highly educated (most have multiple degrees), passionate about their work, and posses creativity that stands apart from all the others, who are kind, hard working, and carefully listen with curiosity to their customers visions.
Plans are created; goals are set, and work is completed on time. Budgets are followed, the process clearly communicated, and wise agents of resources are demonstrated. The outcome is amazing-savvy, refreshing, innovative, inviting.....remarkable! Our backyard transformed into a sanctuary.
We highly recommend Philips Garden to all. A trusting process unfolds that will never let one down.

Phillips Garden did a full backyard remodel in summer 2015 - turned our crappy amateur patio, hafl-century-old cement walkway, and weed-infested lump green space into a beautiful bluestone garden paradise. They were very patient with our changing desires & budget, and were extremely thorough and diligent getting the project done (early!). The designers came up with a wonderful creative "circle" design to leverage our topography, and the garden folks planted 600 (!) perennials in beautiful ways that enhanced our vision.
