While planning an event with high-profile attendees, our third-party coordinator left out an essential aspect of security… explosives detection.
It was not until the night of our event that we realized this, and we were in a panic since it was required. After a quick Google search, we found Philadelphia K9 Services and gave them a call. I spoke to William, who was incredibly helpful and coordinated a K9 team to come out to us immediately. When the team arrived, they went over our safety plans, pointing out what needed to be improved and how to get it done in a short amount of time. The team then swept the conference venue for explosives, followed by setting up for the attendees' car line. The K9 team worked quickly and efficiently, ensuring to be thorough and not delay any of the arriving guests any more than necessary. We requested Philadelphia K9 to come to our school for a narcotics check. We had been having issues with students bringing THC vape pens and other types of narcotics. Philadelphia K9 showed up early, and after a bit of paperwork and explaining to our staff the procedures they would follow, they started the sweep. What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All staff members at Philadelphia K9 Services must undergo Covid testing at any point they feel unwell/exhibit symptoms of a cough/fever. Staff also follow all Covid guidelines set forth by the client.
