We came to Dr. Tsan when we were in the middle of our divorce procedure.
I married my husband almost 20 years ago. At the beginning he was drinking moderately, however with years, it became worse until he could not control his drinking behavior any longer. Due to his drinking issues we could not have children for a long period of time. I would not lose my hope, I was thinking, once we have children he will change, for the child’s sake. Finally it happened, we got a beautiful child, but nothing changed, got worse actually. My husband became aggressive.

The worst part was to keep sober for 2 weeks before Esperal implantation. I would not leave my husband’s side for a minute, whether it was a day or a night, for the entire 2 weeks. And we made it! Dr. Tsan mede a MIRACLE. In the morning of our appointment I accompanied my husband to Dr. Tsan’s office to get Esperal implanted. Dr. Tsan told me, I should come back to pick up my husband in 4 hours. So I did. I have no idea what exactly happened during the treatment, but since this Esperal implantation my husband did not touch alcohol whatsoever. He is NOT craving for it, he is absolutely indifferent to alcohol. It’s been almost a year that he is sober.

This is my 3rd update for Esperal implant that I got at Philadelphia addiction center. 7 months had passed since I had implant and since I am completely sober. I can’t be more happier. In the first month, some thoughts about alcohol slipped my mind but now, I am not even thinking about it and most important, don’t care when someone around me drink. Will update in 3 months again. Very much impressed with the approach to treat alcohol addiction. Hypnotherapy along with Esperal implant, were so helpful. The most difficult part for me that I had to be sober for 2 weeks before treatment but once I passed that stage, everything else work so great. Sober for 3 months now and very happy.
