This place was recommended by a friend of a friend and they did not lead us a stray. My friend and I went on a Thursday which it was quite there but it was amazing. We had the best personal service from the owner and chef. They both came and talked to us about the menu and the origins of the food and restaurant.  The food was really flavorful , plentiful and presented like a 5 star place. I evened asked for something that wasn't on the menu and they made it happen. I'm really pleased for this place. You really have to check it out. Try all the food you will not be disappointed. The most amazing hookah I've had in my life. They have their own unique bowl called the Egyptian Bowl. I'm telling you I've never seen anything like this. And their food...it's literally a Michelin restaurant I've never had Egyptian cuisine before but you have to come here to experience it. You WILL never try another hookah after this!!Look at their food.  You have NEVER had food like this. I've always wanted to try foods from different counties but sometimes I didn't get the full experience. You literally land in Cairo here. You will never have food like this anywhere else's in the whole state. Beyond that, their service!! Everyone here comes from professional backgrounds they literally treat you like a king and queen. The owner is one of the most humble people I've ever met!If you ever want to relax, have amazing food, experience a different culture, even see belly dances! Come here.Hibiscus drinks made from scratch, you will never know how that tastes until you come here  Ask for Ahmed. The nicest owner I've never met. More...

I wish I could go back in time. How about I had such a great experience here, I forgot to take pics of the food.  I could end the review right here and all of Atlanta would fill this place. But I'm going to say a few more persuading things. This is an Egyptian restaurant. They have hookah, great staff, exceptional food ( the cauliflower is the business), good ambiance and music, and a bartender that can read your mind. Seriously, he wowed every indecisive person at my table. Can't wait to go back, I missed the belly dancer that night. Just go, but as usual stay safe and order the cauliflower. More...

I discovered this place when a good friend surprised me with dinner here over the summer. I was amazed by the outstanding customer service and the delicious and authentic Egyptian food! We had the koushari and a number of other dishes, all of which were amazing. The owner Sam and server were nothing but generous with their time, explaining the different types of food, and serving us so well. We felt their hospitality immediately. Additionally, the chef came out to check on us and our food, which we thought was such a nice gesture. We will most definitely return to experience the amazing cuisine and even better hospitality of Pharaoh's Palace. More...

We had the most amazing experience here. We were the only customers when we first got there, but it was getting busy by the time we left. The owner Ahmad seems unbelievably passionate for the food of his culture. He recommended the most delicious hookah flavor that burned with flavor for over an hour and a half. We would've stayed to continue to smoke if we didn't have an appointment. The food was absolutely delicious. I haven't had Persian food of that quality in quite some time. I made a reservation for Valentine's Day here and when we showed up, they had apparently overbooked or something, because no one was being seated. We were told upon arriving that it was a fixed menu, and it was $65 per person for appetizer, entrée, dessert & And a glass of champagne. The four groups in front of us were told it was going to be a 15-20 min wait, even though we all had reservations, and were told we could sit at the bar and wait. The bar was full so we just kind of stood next to the door as we watched more and more groups of people arrive, all that didn't have a place to sit.Eventually we were told that we could sit down if we shared a table with another pair of people or we can sit at the bar.We were at the bar for a minute and flipped through the menu. after looking through the menu and the prices, we realized they were charging $65 for the equivalency of what would be a $40 meal. No special courses. I'm sorry but, I'm not paying $65 Per person to sit at a bar that's freezing because the door keeps opening up right next to it with gusts of wind coming in.They also said they were going to have live music for this special night, but there was just some guy sitting on a weird stage thing playing music tracks on an ipad or something. After sitting at the bar for 10 minutes hoping to get the bartenders attention for a beer I finally got one and gave her a 20 because I didn't want to start a tab, in case we got a table, and nobody had change. They took my 20 and I watched as they were all walking around trying to ask each other if anyone had change and then the owner said he had to go out to his car to get some money. I Asked for my money back so I could just pay with a card and the bartender was so frustrated she just gave me back my money and said "Dont worry about it" (which was nice. Bartender lady, this one star is for you!) So we just left without ordering. (So did quite a few other groups) Ended up going somewhere else and paid half the cost for twice as good of a meal and much better service.Maybe this place is fun on non-holiday nights but avoid it for special occasions at all costs! For the event they had a buffet style which meant I got to try a lot of the items on the menu and quite honestly there was not anything that I did not like. Great hummus, baba ganoush, salad, chicken, and beef. They served tea after the meal and that was great too. No complaints and had a really good experience. My husband made reservations here for Valentine's Day because we'd heard the food was good.  When we got there for a 7:30 reservation, we were told that it was a limited menu and $65/person. I'd checked the website when we got the reservations and there was nothing about a limited menu, but we were sort of stuck since anywhere else would be packed for Valentine's Day.  I thought $65 a person was a bit high for a little strip mall Mediterranean joint but wasn't going to start our meal complaining, so we agreed.  Our server arrived reasonably quickly and we ordered the Zaalouk and the Baba Ganoush as appetizers. Despite being cold appetizers that just needed to be spooned onto the plate, they took quite a while to come out.Conversation was difficult during this wait because the live music (a  singer doing adult contemporary love songs interspersed with a DJ) was far too loud to hear each other.  The appetizers finally came out, but all we could do was stare at them forlornly because there was another substantial wait for the pita bread to arrive.    The singer kept wailing on and at this point, I had a headache.  Once the bread arrived, the zaalouk and baba ganoush were actually both quite good, and (unlike a lot of Mediterranean places) there was enough bread to be able to finish both of them. We ordered our entrees (I'd been looking forward to trying the Koshari but it wasn't on the Valentine's Day menu) and another glass of rose and waited...  and waited...and waited. At some point, someone came around to refill our water glasses.  We asked about the Rose and were told they were out of it.Our server came over to our table, clearly distracted (not entirely her fault, it didn't seem like they had enough servers for the number of people) and said something about our entrees going to another table (it was difficult to hear over the music). My husband was fuming at this point and I was dreading another hour or more of having to endure the music once we finally got our food.  At 8:45, we were told it would be "a few more minutes." At 9 PM we still had no food, so we got up to settle for the appetizers and leave.  The manager offered to get us food immediately (if that was possible in the kitchen, why had we waited over an hour?!) and not charge us for the meal, but at that point, we just wanted to leave. We went down the road to Mellow Mushroom and ended up having Valentine's Day pizza. It's a bit of a shame because the food we did have was pretty good and there were several things I was looking forward to trying on the menu on future visits. But after this experience, we have no desire to go back. More...

Worst experience ever.  NEVER GOING BACK. They advertised a romantic evening for valentine's and you couldn't find the price when booking on Yelp or open table, You were given the price at the door at which point you were probably committed. Getting seated took 20 minutes even though there were empty tables.  The staff seemed to walk around in a daze with no clear responsibilities.  30 minutes later all we had was water, nobody took our order. Then a couple who had been there before us and had recieved no service for an hour got upset, told the manager about their frustration and left. 20 minutes later another couple also got up and left. There were only 8 tables with patrons, and 5 servers and nobody was getting service. We had to wait over 1 hour for us to place our order, and all this time all we had was water. I complained to the manager who was micromanaging everything badly from seating to serving and he said he was resting his kitchen staff because they were tired!!! Unbelievable!!! In a restaurant On valentine's night Just 3 hours after opening 2 more couples left and we were on the verge of leaving when they brought our appetizer. This was over an hour after arriving.  Our food took another hour. We got there at 8:30 and got served at 10:34!!! Worst of all the manager didn't seem to think it was a problem. An absolute NIGHTMARE!! More...

If I could give this place a negative 10000, I would. I called in advanced to reserve a table. The guy I spoke to (appeared to be the owner) at the time advised me that there would an  option to sit and pay for the whole menu or pay for a preset Valentines menu. I told him that I would be happy to come and pay whatever for a good experience with my wife. When my wife and I got there (on 2/14/20) the guy at the door was telling everyone (regardless of reservations) that it was $65 per person to sit. My wife and I agreed to the pricing and sat by the bar while waiting to be seated. Everyone in front of us got their seat and for some reason the host decided to sit an older couple that came after us, before us. I waived him (the host) down and asked him what just happened. He ignored me. After a few minutes he approached me and asked us if we wanted to sit on the same table where the older couple were sitting. I told the host  that we had a reservation. He didn't care. My wife looked back at me with disbelief and started walking away. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THiS PLACE TO ANYONE. More...

All excited to finally have a date with the Mr. We wanted something middle eastern and Pharaohs Place came recommend to us. The atmosphere is nice, open concept very relaxed  feel. We were seated by the owner, He was very nice and welcoming. After a 10 minute deliberation  on what to order, everything looked so mouth watering amazing and I believe they have some "keto" options here too. We had the Alexandra sausage. Let me tell you, this was such a burst of flavor with herbs and lamb, cooked in a tomato like sauce with caramelized onion. The first nite was a nice surprise. The salad, not so much, it was ok-good. We order the lamb as the main dish, I was hoping, considering where we were, that it would be perfect But the Alexandra sausage was prepared better. - Tip, the music was BUMPIN at 7:30pm. We walked in and was greeted by our amazing server, she made sure to to answer any questions we had about the menu and made sure were well aware of the special cooking times some of the specialty dishes take. In addition, she's a joy to talk to always smiling and makes sure her guests are having a good time. Thank you Farrah! ;) (the guy that surprised you with Arabic) hahaEverything was great!
