I have only positive feedback with Phalanx fitness. Recomend this to almost every person who wants to improve their strength and learn how to properly lift wheights. Maybe the best thing is that coach is pushing you to your limits and making sure every sesion is exciting. More...

I had a lot of doubts when I first signed up with Trevor at Phalanx Strength and Conditioning. I had thought I knew everything there was to know about lifting, and that my only limitations were my strength which would come with time. Upon joining however, Trevor quickly and accurately identified the weak points in all of my lifts, and helped me address them. Over the past 3 months now, I have gained both strength and size, but more importantly, I have learned under Trevor's tutelage how to most efficiently perform the main lifts. His methodology around strength training and conditioning is very solid, and has proven results for me. I strongly recommend considering Phalanx if you are looking for a coach who is able to help you reach your goals, whatever they may be. More...

Great coach and facilities. I was powerlifting for a year or so and made good progress on my own. But I'd find myself hitting plateaus or developing nagging injuries. Since starting here in the beginning of the year, Trevor cleaned up my form a lot. Those nagging injuries are gone, and I can lift more than I ever have. I've seen complete beginners, who have never touched a barbell, come in here and within a few days, their form looks impeccable. Great equipment, clean facility, awesome friendship. If you’re looking to get stronger, both mentally and physically, this is the place to be. In a semi-private environment you will experience the motivation from the other members, especially from Trevor, the owner. It has been the best thing to happen to me. I no longer look at the barbell as “exercise”. Instead I look at it as training; training to be the best physical version of myself I can be. Plus, you will never have to ask that bro at the gym again “how many sets ya got left?” For the 15th time. You will always have a spotter. And you will never load/unload weights alone again. Cool facility, Welcoming environment, Solid coach.I was working through Starting Strength's Novice Barbell program and quickly realized I needed help. Trevor Cook, Phalanx owner and coach, was referenced in a forum. I emailed Trevor and he promptly responded and invited me to an open gym. The open gym was a great experience.At Phalanx, the equipment is excellent, the facility is efficiently organized, the AC is comfortable, and the atmosphere is motivating.Trevor is a good coach who meets people where they are. He quickly improved my form. When my form broke down under heavier weight, he encouraged me to "deload" to improve form and prevent injury as opposed to just lifting more weight.Since joining, I've become stronger and more knowledgeable. My wife has since attended an open gym and is now working on her strength journey.I recommend Phalanx Strength - excellent personalized experience with a coach who can relate to the struggles of beginners, to the hardships of dealing with injuries/physical limitations, and to moving people to the next level of strength. Clean facility with brand new equipment. I've always found barbell training intimidating but I wasn't seeing the results I wanted by lifting 10 to 20# dumbbells and running on the treadmill at my old gym. Trevor trains in a way that doesn't make me feel self-conscious since I'm new to this type of training and definitely don't lift a crazy amount of weight. Since going to Phalanx, I've seen improvements in my strength and am finally seeing the results I've been striving for.
