I own a real estate investment company and have used John / PetersonSkyCam to photograph dozens and dozens of properties for me. The deliverables that John provides always vastly exceed my expectations and are WAY better than any other drone photographers I use all over the country. I highly recommend using PetersonSkyCam for all your Texas (& beyond!) droning needs! More...

Q&As

To state the obvious, drone photography can be greatly impacted by the weather, as well as location of the sun in the sky. As such, we'll work together to choose the best date and time to complete your itemized shot list, so we can obtain the best footage possible, with the sun high in the sky and partly-cloudy-to-sunny skies.

Additionally, elevation, angle, and including horizon and skyline are also vital elements to consider to create the best aesthetic possible for your photographs.

What will you be using the photos/videos for - listing a property, personal use, editing, etc.

When do you need the footage - keeping in mind that weather will impact timelines.

Do you need the sky to be blue? Some clouds? No clouds? Is overcast okay?

Keep in mind the time of year - winter months the trees will be bare and grass will be brown - does that aesthetic impact your decision/timeline to get a property photographed?

Anything specific I need to know about the property. In other words, if it's a large piece of land, are there features you want me to be sure to document through the photographs/videos.

My favorite moments are when I get to drive for a few hours through the countryside to get to visit and explore someone's property and obtain the best features and photos/videos possible.

I'm part of a real estate investment company and as part of our business I've flown drones to document our own properties. I decided to begin doing the same for others who can benefit from drone photography.

As a person who lists properties myself, I understand the photos you need in order to be able to market a property and make those photos be as memorable as possible to make that great first impression to potential buyers.
