I honestly don’t even know where to begin… Working with Peter was my favorite part of the wedding planning process. We came to him grasping at ideas and he took everything we said and turned it into a full vision. Not only is he creative and fun to work with, but he is also the utmost professional who obviously takes prided in his work. When we would discuss different flowers/greenery/décor options he did not hesitate to call on his experience and provide honest feedback. I contacted Peter James Floral to order flowers for my boyfriend who lives in Asbury Park and believes in supporting local businesses.  I wanted to pay via personal check and they were very accommodating.  I found an arrangement on their website I liked and asked them if they would use that as a sample of the type of arrangement I wanted and I also asked them to text a picture of the arrangement to me prior to delivery.  When I received the text of the arrangement, I was blown away.  I guarantee you there is no other flower arrangement that looks quite like this one--original and exotic.  I even requested a specific time of day for delivery and they complied.  If I ever need to order flowers again, Peter James Floral is where I'm going. My experience with Peter was absolutely outstanding! He's was suggested to me by Berkeley from the Berkeley hotel in Asbury Park. I had very little vision going into my first meeting with Peter, but his extensive knowledge of his craft helped me immediately feel at ease. Because I went in ill-prepared with not even so much of a screen shot or Pinterest board, I gave the poor man very little to work with and he didn't skip a beat. He started out by asking me questions about myself and future husband and really got a feel for who were as people and we went from there and it was perfect. He was super accommodating to questions and even changes here and there. I called just a few weeks before the wedding to add wreaths for my flower girls and it was no issue at all. Before seeing the room for myself my bridal party was raving about how amazing the reception looked and upon walking in I was floored. The quality and attention to detail far surpassed my expectations. What an amazing job. I also want to say on a personal note that each time I met with Peter I absolutely loved his company. We were married last Friday (9.15.17) and worked with Peter on our personal flowers, decorations, and ceremony decor. I cannot emphasize how much of a pleasure it was working with him. Every meeting was wonderful, and his communication with us was always very responsive. Two days before our wedding Peter called me to let me know the hurricane in Florida impacted some of our flower choices, but he had some fantastic back up ideas. Peter James was the florist for our wedding at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel on August 25th. He was amazing! He immediately understood my vision and brought it to life. I felt he was professional, accommodating, and provided beautiful arrangements at a good value. When I got my first estimate from him I was actually pleasantly surprised at the cost for what he provided. Unfortunately, my budget was very low at that point (I waited less then 2 months before my wedding to link up with him!) but Peter was understanding and was able to work with my budget and still delivered a beautiful package without compromising the look. Everyone at the wedding raved about the floral arrangements and I always felt I was in good hands. I hired Couture Events after trying to plan my daughter's Jersey wedding from 6 hours away in Rochester, NY. You think you know what you're doing until you realize what is involved! Although a venue has an event planner or wedding coordinator, please remember they do not work for you - they work for the venue. A thousand things could go wrong and there is no one working for you. Peter, Dani and the entire staff were so amazing - they took the pressure off this very anxious mom and bride to be so that we could enjoy the day. From recommending top-notch vendors, coordinating with the venue and running the show on the wedding day, they more than delivered. The florals and centerpieces created by Peter were stunning - we received so many compliments on them. My husband and I can't put into words how perfectly Peter, Tommy and the staff at Couture Events planned and executed our wedding. They made our day better than we could have ever imagined. The gazebo, aisle, bouquets, reception tables, cake and sweetheart table (along with everything in between) were absolutely STUNNING. There were plenty things I knew I wanted for my wedding, flowers was not one of them. Walking into to meet Peter James, I was embarrassed that I had no clue what he was talking about when asking me about flower choices. Peter James was SO patient, showing me different types of flowers and options that I could have for my wedding day. He has a talent that is undeniable. A month before my wedding, he sat down with my fiancé and I to show us what our center pieces would look like. He was also able to incorporate my colors into the girls bouquets. The day of the wedding, Peter James was to prepare an arch for us on the rooftop of our venue. Unfortunately, the wind gusts were a bit much. Peter James was awesome! I am not really a flower person so I had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted. I'm also not into the traditional wedding vibe (white and/or pastel everything), so I gave Peter a general idea and color scheme and let him be creative with it. We could not have found a more perfect florist to work with for our wedding day! We were married on July 3, 2016 in Asbury Park, NJ. From the moment we met Peter, we knew we were in good hands. I was very happy with my decision to go with Peter James for all the flowers for my wedding. When I first went to see him I had no idea what I wanted to do. I'm not very good with flowers, so I really needed to put my faith in someone who knows what they are doing. Peter was that person. I described my dress and well as the colors of my bridesmaid's dresses and he was able to tell me right away what would look best. He also had books to go through so I was able to get ideas of his past work. Everything came out gorgeous, form the bouquets to the center pieces to the alter. Ladies and Gentlemen. I produce international destination events all over the world. For my 32nd birthday party, i wanted an electrifying shock. I decided to go all out on the flowers. Peter and his team took my vision and explicitly translated my wishes into the most incredibly stunning floral displays that would rival any top global designer. Do NOT tell Peter what to do, he already has it done. Last minute direction change, not even a drop of sweat. In fact, peter originally suggested that "Last minute direction change" from the beginning. So, listen to Peter ;)

Peter and his team were professional, fun and flexible. They know design and events thoroughly. I only wish I hired couture events to produce the entire event, and not just the floral... Well, 33 is going to be GRAND!
