Q&As

I have always had a deep interest in behavior and psychology. I grew up with a traditional "old school" way of handling animals, and always felt there was a better way. I am inspired by people who have dedicated their lives to finding that better way. I want to be a part of that movement, so I started Pet Talk! I hope to bring positive reinforcement into all aspects of animal care, no matter the species. I believe all living beings wish to be heard, understood, and to understand.

I am not naturally a competitive, or a very good sales person, but I believe in what I do. I put my heart and soul into building communication between human and animals. I am passionate about finding the solution that is right for the individuals involved. I am also willing to work with anyone, no matter what kind of animal they are working with. Positive reinforcement is not species specific, and I am excited to share that with everyone!

Yes! We can meet virtually on Face Time, Zoom, and also through email by written questions or video submissions.

Face masks are optional, so please let me know if you prefer them during our interactions. We can also meet virtually, or in an outdoor area.

Services

I am excited to help anyone learn how to use positive reinforcement, allowing them to work with any animal species they care for! From dogs, cats, and horses, to pocket pets, aquatic pets, and live-stock. Make medical care easier for yourself, your veterinarian, and the animal. Teach good manners, teach that behavior you have been striving for, or even saddle train a horse without causing a break down in the human animal bond (or your backs!).

Positive reinforcement does not require you to physically dominate the animal, therefore it can be safely and successfully used by children, elderly, and those with disabilities.
