PPI is a wonderful shelter for animals. They are loved and cared for by every person who works there. Each worker cares for the animals as their own and I highly recommend adopting a pet from there

If you are planning on adopting a rescue animal I highly recommend you check out PPI in Yucca Valley not only do they have the cutest animals around but all of the animals are well cared for and heathly I also found the staff there to be knowledgeable caring and friendly they answered all my questions and made us feel at ease Thank you PPI Staff and Employees

I have known Joan Grandizio to be one of THE most caring, passionate and sincere animal rescue people I have ever seen. She's not only the president, she gets outside and tends to the needs of her animal friends.
Her love for these sometimes sick, stray, abandoned but never forgotten animal friends are well cared for and placed into loving homes by Joan, nearly single handely. I hope to help raise funds for her efforts by producing a CD called "Voices of the Voiceless" to promote and bring light, love and finance to these folks.

If there is heaven on earth for abused or neglected animals, it’s here and the owner, visionary Joan Grandizio, is its angel.
I just met Joan, and she spent the entire day sharing the stories of each animal and how they came to be at her rescue, showing us around not one but two properties of animals. Joan’s love and concern for each precious animal is remarkable and I can’t wait to go back and visit the animals, and Joan, again!
