I adopted a German Shepard mix at the beginning of the new year and was trying to find the right dog trainer to help with my dogs anxiety and tools she needed to adjust in a new home. It took me a long time to find someone but I found Tyler’s business and I absolutely love her service! All of our exercises we’ve worked on have been applied when it’s just me and my baby girl training at home. We’re going to be working on her anxiety around other dogs soon since she was earlier attacked by a stray in our neighborhood which has made wanting to take walks a little hard so far. I adopted a new companion about six months ago, and after getting some time to know each other I realized that I would needed some assistance from an expert. Though she’s mostly pretty chill at home if nothing’s going on, my new bestie is a bit hypervigilant and quite reactive, both inside the home with guests and passers by and especially while out on walks. We needed help with her alert barking and leash pulling, the former setting my nerves on edge and the latter concerning for a variety of reasons but primarily her strength when she gets excited. I was introduced to Tyler with Pet Confidante by a mutual friend who had nothing but positive things to say, and I was really impressed with the way that she worked with both of us to not only help create a pathway to significant change in these behaviors but also to assist me in developing a deeper bond with my baby. She was very easy to talk to and answered my questions. We talked for a while about what we wanted for Samwise, if I get another dog I will be definitely coming back for training again.

Tyler has a true knack for dog training and such a way with animals! My black lab had been struggling on walks, as she would become very territorial and bark like crazy at other dogs and people. Tyler has helped her so much, and now she is able to walk past other dogs and humans with no problem at all. I love watching the bond between Owner and pet grow as both learn how to better work and communicate together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked with families and their pets for many years. This is my passion and I want to be able to help as many dogs as I can.

I go above and beyond for my clients. I treat them and their pets like family. I always make sure that the Owner has all the tools they need in order to be successful and am always available to answer questions/concerns.
