PESCO

Great new Italian food in Hood River. I enjoyed my first meal at Pesco this afternoon. Delicious authentic Italian, cooked with love. The Caponata is as good as I've had anywhere. The gluten-free chickpea fritters were fluffy and delicious, especially with Elizabeth's homemade seasoned mayo. The Arborio rice balls with the meat sauce centers were also a treat. This is the best Italian food in Columbia river gorge. Creativity and execution reminds me of Gumba in Portland. Every Italian food and pasta fan must come here. Everything feels home made. All textures feel unique and yet familiar. Like that perfect noodle I once timed to cook right! Even their containers are compostable, which is a huge plus cause I often feel bad ordering out for creating trash.I don't have photos of food cause I ate it all, but maybe I'll share it next time!
