Ordered the chicken Tikka masala, a butter paneer type dish, and garlic naan. Given there are an abundance of Indian restaurants within a 10 mile radius I would say this place is good but not great. Service was slow for not being busy on a Sunday afternoon, but staff was helpful in answering questions. Food portions reasonable compared to usual Indian restaurant portions. Recently me and buddies went to this Restaurant and I must say we were more than pleased with our experience. The food and ambience were definitely up to the mark but I really appreciated their decorum as it explained the Rich history of ONE of their Many signature dishes called “Dum biryani”. First visit and without a doubt will not be the last. The ambience in and out of the restaurant is tastefully done and very importantly clean. The staff was attentive and courteous from the moment we walked in. Aside from trips through the airport, I had never seen a restaurant with a digital menu, an iPad that includes vibrant images of each menu item as well as video of select dishes being prepared. I was definitely impressed with that, but the food is the most important. The appetizers and main course were phenomenal and the portions were large, enough for two. I typically try the same or similar dish whenever I go to a new Indian spot and the Shrimp Masala was done if the best I've ever had. For dessert we had the rasamalai, which was good. But next time, I will definitely try the Sizzling Brownie which looked great in the menu's video but I was full after the main course.The bathroom was clean with everything in working order, always a good sign. And they deliver, in case I don't feel like driving the five minutes from home. This will definitely be a regular spot for me. Very highly recommended! More...

Awesome place! Stumbled across this place while we dropped off a bunch of teens at Six Flags. It's the best Indian food I've had in New Jersey. Raju was very attentive and the owner was pleasant. I'd eat here very often if it were closer to me, but I've already raved about it to friends in the area. The portions are huge and I was full after an appetizer, Naan, and an entree. I went there on Saturday night and the place was packed, yet they sat us quickly. Our server Raju was very polite in informing us that there might be a delay in getting the food out since everyone almost walked in at the same time and there is a backlog. I appreciated the upfront notice. Our food was indeed a bit late and we totally understand it as it is very hard to manage the rush as I used to work in a national restaurant chain and even we were not able server food without a bit of delay. Now getting to the food part, we ordered Persis Platter, kabab's were amazing from taste and presentation. However, I like my meat cooked well done which I didn't inform them so I think if they ask us, it will be good. We ordered the following Curries: 1. Chicken Tikka Masala - 5/5, Perfect level of spice and flavor. 2. Goat Curry - 5/5, This was a highlight of the meal, arguably this is the best Goat curry I ever had 3. Chicken Biryani - 4/5, This was good but I think compared to the other two item's quality, this was a little bit on a downside 4. Sizzling Brownie - 5/5, If you like Chocolate and want to enjoy something sweet, this the desert to go 5. Assorted Naan - 5/5, They were nice and soft, Their Onioflavourn Kulcha is a little bit different and I actually enjoyed it more than other places, Lacha Paratha, very soft, Garlic Naan, full of garlic flavor. Now going to service part: As mentioned before it was a bit slower than what I would normally like but I understand it. Even with super rush, Raju was able to come and check on us every now and then and ask everything was ok. The owner also stopped by and apologies for bit delayed in service, which is rare and almost unheard of in an Indian Resturant. Overall, if I have to stick by rating and everything perfect standard then I would give them 4 stars but being practical, I think I will go by 5* for them.
